Before the stream started it showed the teams arriving and having a look at the pitch. We all commented that City just didn't look at all interested. They slouched around, hands in pockets while DeWijs kept banging his head with the palm of his hand - the defeat was easy to predict and it'll take a miracle for them to change for the Luton match.

 

The positives are that your payments to the membership scheme start again on August 1st and the club are not too concerned about the social distancing rules. So that is one less thing to worry about.
On a serious note McCann should have resigned at full time tonight because that was shocking.
Something must have happened on the bus down or before the game for the starting eleven to be so uninterested in what was billed as the most important game fo the season so far.

I haven't posted much recently, but I had to tonight as that is absolutely heartbreaking.

Not one player took any ownership and thought I am not going to let them score. When you concede the fourth just before half time you shut up shop, you stick your foot in where it hurts, you do anything to stop conceding goals. We look like we don't care, and I am sure they do care but they are doing a good impression of not caring.

McCann is out of his depth, I won't repeat this line as we all know it.

But the players simply aren't good enough. Imagine where we would be if we didn't have Bowen/Grosicki for half the season we would have been relegated before lockdown. Claiming the players are good enough and a new manager will solve all our problems is deluded. Our manager isn't good enough but he isn't the only problem.

The club is broken from the top down. We have wasted so many millions over the past ten years and all we have are memories for it. The fact they can claim we are the best run club in the country is an absolute joke. Waste 500 odd million and end up in League 1, on what planet are they on. The owners are the ones who are accountable for this mess, yet we know they will claim they have done nothing wrong.

If the players showed an ounce of the passion that is on these forums for our club they wouldn't lose 8-0. I like to think I think logically but I am absolutely fuming.

We are going down without a fight. I have said so many times on this forum I can accept losing, but tonight we didn't even fight. We are in a relagation battle, you need to roll your sleeves up and grind out a point.

yes, exactly, that's what was already in my mind, and that's what i'm saying - one of them was supposedly a fourth division team full of free transfers, and the other one is supposedly a second flight team but turned out to be full of overpaid feeble-minded gutless inadequates with no footballing ability.

 

I don’t see Ehab sacking him, he’s having too much fun, he knows that’s what we want. He’s probably told McCann he’s gone after the last game, so McCann doesn’t care as he’ll get paid off.
I doubt he’ll get another job anytime soon though!

It's their club they can do what they want, it's up for sale you know so put your hand in your pocket and buy it. If you wasn't for them Hull City would have gone out of existence.


Not my words, a few of us saw what was coming, marked them down as ****s a long time ago and stuck with that opinion.

Look they've brought back concessions, some of the social media has changed back to Hull City, they are talking to the fans again. Made some good signings, brought in a good manager, what more do you want FFS.
