Mask have always been well advised, just there has never been enough to go around, so they advised against so that hospitals could be prioritised, I've always known this, and have always had masks since Jan, some of you are just a bit slow.<whistle>

Have they all been shipped off to Looney bin?......pity, I had a great joke for that thread too.

This come to light apparently a few weeks ago as some with a keen eye spotted the extortionate prices of cabinets and cushions, and it's getting bigger.

If it's happening in America, you can bet it's happening around the world.

I put this up to show what a joke BLM and cancel culture are, they really are a laugh a minute.

This women starts off by saying she's not a neo marxist, and not necessarily a BLM supporter (emphasis on "not necessarily") but she accuses a charity worker, now a sacked charity worker of being a White supremacist. There's your hypocrisy right there.

She gives her so called unbiased views on why the charity worker (helping kids of all colours) was right to be sacked because of something he said, basically an opinion.

This is what the Looney left / cancel culture cucks do to destroy peoples lives who don't bow down to them.

    The idiocy continues unabated.

    Read and learn:

The statue in Bristol was of Edward Colston.

Edward Colston (2 November 1636 – 11 October 1721) was an English merchant, philanthropist and Tory Member of Parliament who was involved in the Atlantic slave trade.

Colston followed his father in the family business becoming a sea merchant, initially trading in wine, fruits and textiles, mainly in Spain, Portugal and other European ports. By 1680, he became involved in the slave trade as a member of the Royal African Company, which held a monopoly on the English trade in African slaves. He was deputy governor of the company in 1689–90.

In 1680, Colston became a member of the Royal African Company, which had held the monopoly in England on trading along the west coast of Africa in gold, silver, ivory and slaves from 1662. Colston was deputy governor of the company from 1689 to 1690. His association with the company ended in 1692. This company had been set up by King Charles II and his brother the Duke of York (later King James II), who was the governor of the company, together with City of London merchants, and it had many notable investors, including philosopher and physician John Locke (who later changed his stance on the slave trade) and the diarist Samuel Pepys.

During Colston's involvement with the Royal African Company from 1680 to 1692 it is estimated that the company transported over 84,000 African men, women and children to the Caribbean and the rest of the Americas, of whom as many as 19,000 may have died on the journey. The slaves were sold for labour on tobacco, and, increasingly, sugar plantations, whose planters considered Africans would be more suited to the conditions than British workers, as the climate resembled the climate of their homeland in West Africa. Enslaved Africans were much less expensive to maintain than indentured servants or paid wage labourers from Britain.

Not quite the jolly good chap was he?

    But why now?

There was a poll asking whether the statue should be removed, very few responded and the result was to keep it.
Bristol was built on the slave trade. It was a different time and we all know it was wrong. Britain didn't abolish slavery until 1833, so, at the time, he wasn't doing anything wrong.
Up until the middle of the last century in England there were 'no Irish' signs posted in windows and the Irish slave trade predated the African slave trade. There are no protests about this though.
I detest what Colston was involved in but we can't change the past.
Anyone who works for, or profits from, working for a tobacco company deserves more abuse than Colston. They have killed and brought misery to billions. Anyone who produces, sells or profits from class A drugs is the scum of the earth, ruining lives of those that take them and those affected by those that do.
The idea that I am responsible for someone's ancestor being sold into slavery is utterly ridiculous. It's like saying that all Germans are responsible for what Hitler did.

As many black commentators have said, they need to move on from slavery.
