I'd love to see Ferry and Vokins get some meaningful game time in this.

I think Long and Pierre will start this one. Prowsie and Adams will probably drop to the bench (I don't think Danny will accept being rested!). Possibly Vestergaard in for one of the CB's. Smallbone for Armstrong as well. I don't want that many changes but needs must. There's not going to be a huge gap between this season and next so need to look after the players.

I hope they have ice baths on the plane home tonight, there were some very tired legs out there tonight.

Three days. We might have to rotate somewhat.
But if Hoj is still on the naughty step, then OR is in.
Can't see JWP being left out.
I can't see Long displacing Che.
    So, same team then. <laugh>

Rotation needed for this one - already had some tired legs and after that display you'd think we need at least 4 or 5 changes.

Completely get Ings wanting to play every minute for the golden boot but with his past surely we can't take any risks. Tough one for Ralph.

We should stay in Manchester and travel back to Southampton Thursday morning. Make it feel a bit more like an away match.

Simply assess fitness over the next couple of days to see who is fit enough but would like to see Smallbone playing and if fit Djenepo
The chances of getting JWP and Ings out that team are virtually zero

Rest the entire team to get ready to send Bournemouth down.

Tough nut to crack these lot. But as we are both safe, I reckon this might make the game a little more open than usual, and that will suit us. I reckon we'll win this 2-1, but we'll have to score first to do so.

Me too, it feels like such a quick turnaround from last night, Brighton should be far fresher.

Plus they’ll sit back and try to counter, which is the kind of game we struggle in.

We get Sian 2 games running, that must be unusual.

The current scheduling of PL games must be quite a headache for deciding which referees and officials are at which game.

Is there a standard rest period referees should have between games? Also are they expected to make their own way to games, or does transport / hotels etc. get sorted for them?
