The general consensus seems to be the ruling will be upheld but the ban maybe reduced to 1 year. In theory the Premier League can also bring a similar case, if they broke the UEFA rules they also breached the PL rules. Apparently the PL want to wait for the outcome of the appeal before making a decision.

I thought it was quite interesting to see the change in Bournemouth's play once they got in front, they looked completely different players/team.
Last time I remember being that stunned from a couple of minutes spell of madness was the Watford play off game. Can’t see a similar reaction back then as Rodgers and this team are spineless. He isn’t fit to stand in Nige’s shadow. At this point I’d rather Man City get the ban overturned as it’s more likely we drop lower than 5th and for a competitor like Wolves to get CL would be bad and set us back. At least if it stays top 4 and Man Utd and Chelsea get in, we can deal with being behind them.
Also re the Soyuncu sending off, just seeing it again and what is Wilson doing? Obviously Cags needs to take responsibility for what he did but Wilson has provoked that. Cags is picking the ball up and Wilson shoves him out the way. Why is Wilson getting involved there? They’d just gone in front so it wasn’t like they’d pulled a goal and and still behind or even just gone level where he’d be wanting to get the ball straight back for the restart. His team mates were all off celebrating so his actions were needless and provoking or he was trying to delay the restart by smashing the ball away something like that. Cags has fallen hook line and sinker for it but Wilson’s conduct should be questioned.
Well, that was a mare. We really need Chilwell and Maddison back now. I actually thought that would have been the perfect game to get young Thomas in at left back and was surprised Fuchs was in.
