It was the right time to play City. They went out against Liverpool to prove a point and did it comprehensively. City put KDB on the bench and rested others. They had had their big match before they played us. Having lost to us, they refocused and smashed the next game.
There are pluses and minuses. Good that we have an extra day to recover from Everton, bad that we only then have 3 days until Brighton, and then only 3 days until Bournemouth.
D'you know what, I think we could play Bompey and Brighton on the same day and still win. South Coast is ours.
