Was also thinking the match against Man City where he basically put out a weakened side. If I was one of them players I would have been thinking “oh thanks Steve play me in a game where we are going to get belted”. Bellend!
Aye, we've given stupid ****ing fouls away all season in the final 3rd, im literally stunned that we hadn't conceded a penalty until yesterday. Both were just completely ****ing stupid and needless but you could see the 2nd goal coming as soon as they got their first. Other teams just need to sit back and let us score first, we'll then just bend over and take it up the arse and handsomely surrender the game. I thought Joelinton looked a handful when he come on, held the ball up very well and drew plenty fouls from the opposition, should have probably been on from start as a our defenders seemed to want to do was to hump it upfield to our smallest player on the pitch and expect him to win some headers. Cant quite figure out Brucies tactics for that game like....mind-boggling.
Hoof ball tactics to the smallest man on the pitch. It was because we had no midfield. I watched back the game (I do that sometimes as I like to make myself suffer) and it’s astonishing how they changed their game plan and we just went into defence tactics. It started to go wrong just before half time. I hadn’t noticed lascelles had a go at Rose and Rose said who are you talking too! So that’s a problem! Plus when you watch back our second goal that was ruled out for offside I can’t actually believe he was offside. He didn’t actually look offside? There was no VAR review and no lines on the pitch?
He did look offside, he’d put himself in front of the last man. He didn’t need to be offside, the pass was delayed a fraction. Ive seen Ritchie do that kind of crap before. Screw up then screw up worse trying to make up for it. Manqs foul was almost suspiciously bad.
loads of excuses usually say a I'm not one for excuses then lists his excuses... watch the pre match conference and then the post match interview... I laughed alot
I think people are misinterpreting Bruce's comments. He's not saying that they shouldn't have been given. He's saying that they were soft in terms of what we did. In other words what the **** were our players doing. Once again the majority of the blame had to lay with the players. Manquillo played left back numerous times under Rafa so not really an excuse. Schar was the only odd decision but even that can be rationalised. Bentalab had been **** and a Longstaff/Shelvey partnership would look weak. Though it transpired that Schar was also a weak link as he had been all season.
whats that got to do with me disagreeing on Bruce's post match comments? and he's no worse than the rest bar max and almiron the last 2 games
You said you disagreed. As I had made 3 points I presumed you disagreed with all three as you did not specify.
Doesnt matter how often you play someone, if you're unwilling to pay them what they feel they deserve and offer a good contract, they want out.
It's just polite to the other people who read for you to actually specify what you're talking about. You can't just say "disagree" and when someone retorts go "I don't disagree with that tho" it just makes you look like an idiot.
or I've realised it doesn't matter and it goes around in circles, so saying I disagree is accurate and all that's required .. everything on here ends with " agree to disagree " so I've just been less idiotic and cut to the chase.
