Wolves are great. They may actually be able to keep hold of their stars as well, as the whole thing is an experiment by Mendes. You guys are right that united look a lot better, Chelsea have also signed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech who are brilliant players. Every chance they can kick on and improve too.
Wolves doing to them what we should have done to them on Thursday (at least in the first half). Ancelotti basically has to rip up Everton's entire midfield. Wide and central.
An Everton supporting colleague at work reckons that Tom Davies should be in the England squad, and JWP is just a one trick pony. He was totally anonymous against us, and the same today. Same deluded colleague talks about Everton as being a top four club as if its an axiom.
One thing to consider with the Spurs/Jose situation is Nuno from Wolves. He (albeit with a better squad) has had much better performances and finishes than Saints/Ralph, so it’s likely that he’d be in line for that role ahead of Ralph. You then have to wonder whether a bigger club would go for an English manager like Dyche/Wilder who have also done better than Ralph in recent times (granted Wilder is only one season in). That said, I fully expect Ralph to lead saints well in to the top half next season which will boost his standing. But to be honest I’m just hoping for anything that means we don’t lose another manager to bloody Tottenham.
I think that Eddie Howe would be the perfect Spuds Manager, he has worked miracles for years and is a much better player coach than Maureen for example and is used to working with a budget. His teams play an attractive brand of football too.
Walking down the tunnel to take the field, Douglas Luiz takes out his earrings and hands them to a member of staff. That's why Villa are where they are.
