Glorious morning down here and we walked into the village for milk (yes, milk this time <laugh>) and nearly suffered a nasty experience. The horses and foals wandering everywhere are not usually a problem but one took a fancy to the wife. Not being sure what to do having another two dogs on leads, I decided to walk on in case the pony took a fancy to me.

At this point, a cow suddenly took exception to one of my inquisitive mutts getting too close and decided to charge. Now I'm not one to run away from a fight but had to decide whether to protect my mutt or rescue the wife. Meanwhile the wife's sister walked on in front oblivious to the potential carnage behind her.

I decide to call her for assistance but got the impression she'd been talking to Masky as I'm sure she said Fug off.

Interesting about cows, In my years as a runner (not a bookies runner OS) I would run at cows scattering them and they would disperse. Prior to that they would chase me, threatingly....till I realised! The wife of a friend was killed by a herd of cows, made national news. Usually a charge is sparked by the presence of a dog, (which usually escapes), putting the human in danger! Anyway, I would advise not to take cows too lightly, not Aber though! :emoticon-0103-cool:
