So was Chalobah there or not ?! Totally confusing but sums up the season I guess. Doubt any of them will play tbh.
I doubt that will make any difference to the match day team, they might just prevent a couple of the youngsters from getting some match day experience
Another one who was at the party - you have to wonder why he didn't own up at the time. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/fourth-watford-player-faces-disciplinary-22294081
Not the wisest of things for Craig Shakespeare to be saying right now - not concerned about our lack of goals!! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...oncerned-watfords-premier-league-goals-tally/
I guess he sees what goes on in training etc........ BUT............................ Interesting debate going on about whether TD is good for us at the mo. There is an article in theAthletic which is behind a paywall.. but Pearson believes he occupies defenders os i serbing a purpose..... not pretty football... the hoof up to him and he loses two thirds of the balls and then the opp have possession
I'm not sure I'd agree with the two thirds bit - although I suppose someone has gone to the bother of keeping track. I get the sense that he wins more than he loses - and many come to nothing because others don't read his game. I'm very mindful of the way his headers and deft flicks used to set up Iggy, Vydra and Fessi - especially the last two - but we don't seem to play like that anymore. A front pairing of TD and Sarr might bring those days back?
Or Welbeck if he fit enough. Of course if Gray was any good at controlling the ball he'd be an ideal partner with that pace.
I read an analysis the other day... I think he won 8 out of 22...... I am not a tactics person... but it has not been working whichever way we look at it.....
West Ham on a Friday night and Tuesday evening for Man City. Both Sky. https://www.premierleague.com/news/1702418
Interesting little piece on Pedro. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ilian-striker-realising-premier-league-dream/
Well he is contracted till next season so hopefully will come back fit and healthy next season! He seems to have a knee injury each season which is a bit worrying for someone who will rely on pace and strength at full back. Mind you Nigel Gibbs had knee trouble for a while and came back good.
https://theathletic.com/1923086/202...ord-saint-maximim/?source=user_shared_article Shame it's behind a paywall, but the gist of the story is that, assuming Premier League status is retained, the club intend building the team around Sarr rather than cash in on him. Sounds good to me.
