Amen to that CP - this and the debacle at the Olympic Stadium shows that we’re still a work in progress and have a soft underbelly. Getting points from these games should be a priority esp with the likes of Manu & Liverpool still to come ; it’ll be touch & go whether we make the top 4 - team needs to harden up big time.

Has to be the most disappointing ( kindest adjective i can think of ) result of the season so far. Well maybe not worse than the home defeat to Bournemouth. Either way that was just not good enough. WTF is Timo Werner thinking now ? Let's hope Kai Havertz hasn't got Sky !

It's pretty obvious this result is down to attitude, not ability. William I forgive he's run himself to a stop, Mount and Pulisic a bit the same.Barkley is just a pretender, Christensens' a wimp, Zouma lost without a good partner.
Loftus Cheek and Hudson Odi had big injury so, some slack. Reece James is, week by week, being exposed as a lousy defender. OK it's early days but he's maybe not the boy wonder we thought. Abraham, Jorghino and Rudiger are absolutely below the level required.
There is a bit of " I get 100Gs a week and I'm great from Abraham, CHO, Reece James. They all need a size 12 up the ring piece.
Only the cream rises to the top.

Don’t agree with any of this mate, Frank got everything wrong yesterday from team selection, team set up also wrong tactics. But I do agree that Barkley is nothing more than a brick. RLC is unfit and both centre backs are going through **** form. Willian runs but no creativity and gave the ball away too easily. But Frank has to take all the blame for the **** tactics.

Agree, that's why I gave him a "Very poor " rating. But I will stick with player criticism.
Barkley just frustrates the bejeezus out of me, to the point he is so inconsistent he can't be relied on.
Abraham has had game after game after game and still rarely scores, rarely stays onside, rarely times his runs. Looks like he has heaps of ability but no instincts. Reece James has lost form and needs to get it back. RLC and CHO, after injury, are understandably slow to pick up form and deserve time.
Then there's Jorghino, Mr. sideways and backwards, who never runs, just stops, looks and passes, taking all forward momentum away. And finally our centre backs.
Christensen looks the weakest of the three to me, Zouma needs a tougher partner, but adds a bit of go forward, and Rudiger , blimey, he seems to be terribly out of form.
Put Kovacic and Kante in midfield, start with Giroud, Put Dave at right back and Alonso at left back, and we look a better proposition, though with our same 3 stand out problems, striker, CD and left back.
