He only got 2 didn't he? The 1 against Arsenal was soft as out. Can't remember what he done for the other. He's a million miles ahead of Joelinton, Gayle, Carroll
Like the strikers we currently have? I know he was a liability at times, and he was **** a lot of the time but he was young. Mitro Merino and Mbemba could have been a good spine to the team. We don't have a better player in any of those positions now
they never get sent off though.. that can coat you points in games you were winning... at the bottom if I was a manager i wouldn't feel safe with that plonker in my side
I could understand getting Rondon in for a season but he's about 6 years older than Mitro What about Merino and Mbemba? You agree selling them was idiotic? Made some stupid decisions Rafa* *Before anyone says Merino wanted to leave, he was being left out by an absolute donkey in Diame, not because he was homesick
He wasn't happy because Diame kept out of the team, can't really blame him. Mbemba was quality. He played alongside Colocini though, unfortunately for him
He was too ill-disciplined and apparently had a poor attitude in training. It's alright scoring 1 in 3 games, but if you're also going to get sent off 1 in 5,then what's the point. Also wow he's doing well in the championship, big deal, Gayle also did well in the championship.
1 in 3 over 38 games is about 13 being banned goals. Miss say 7 games for being banned and that would be about 10 goals in 31 games. Now, how many in total have Muto, Carroll, Gayle and Joelinton got so far this season?
Merino was homesick, that's not a lie, Rafa wanted to keep him, just like Rafa wanted to keep Townsend and Thauvin too. Diame was also quality every other game. Mbemba was used by Rafa, but again he had a poor attitude. So was sold, yeah he's doing well now 3 seasons later. It's not exactly like Mourinho selling De Bruyne, Cech, Lukaku, Bertrand for absolute peanuts or Conte selling Salah.
Joelinton and Carroll are absolute ****e signings though, who no one with any sense would have signed. Gayle did the job we needed him for and Muto was about 10th choice.
No Not really. If you work with someone who has a poor attitude, it brings the whole team down, if they're getting told off every other week and being disciplines, a company isn't going to keep hold of them are they just because they have a good day at work once a month.
Everything about your post was nonsense. He wasn't banned nearly as often as you're implying, and he outscores every single one of our players. You just don't like him, don't pretend its from actual facts. Its purely a personal opinion.
I didn't think that Mitrovic was good enough for Premiership football, but compared to whose replaced him, he was much more of a striker with some end product. Letting Rondon leave has been a more painful experience.
