Max was marked/kicked out of the game. Almiron headless today. All round just a rubbish club to support.

 

As soon as the calls came for Bruce doing amazing, the need to “look up”, it’s turned to utter ****. Predictably.

Worked something else out today - all the claims Bruce is unpopular because he’s unfashionable is looking at it wrong. We should all be asking why a serial loser and under achiever keeps getting million pound jobs at the top of the game. Haven’t dozens of lower league managers earned more right to the NuFC job than this buffoon?

I think Bruce's rotation is fruitless because there's always 3 or 4 not rested anyway...

Bruce has done better than I thought but I think given he didn't change anything for so long it's only just becoming apparent why that was a good thing

 

he took over a side that finished 13th.. usually a manager takes over a side leaking goals and losing every week . I think in this scenario it takes time to make an arse of it... he made a good change a just before lockdown and it worked.. the fact he tried pushing his luck is a real concern imo...

 

In the last couple of games I think it’s clear why Bruce is a very average player.

He’s obviously a nice man to work for.
He can’t motivate players.
He plays players out of position.
He sticks with his favourites.
He played Joelinton all season as a striker when we had Gayle available who just scores goals.
He is now towing the “Ashley’s a good owner line”.
He’s also saying there’s nothing wrong at the club.
His handling of Matty Longstaff has been terrible.

 

the Saudis will have chance to oust him if we lose the last 3 games that a 5 straight losses and we've gone backwards having spent bigger than we ever have.

not all his fault but sadly that's his job.. he's paid to be accountable...

I have to say I was thinking he deserves a chance but from the city cup game to now he's lost the plot. I think the impending takeover has lead him to try strange things to try and look clever personally.

Why has he deserved a chance? He's taking us literally us no further. He's openly admitted he's used Rafa's tactics. The football has been worse than that played by rafa.

well ultimately he's kept us up so he's done pretty well if you ignore the performances and just look at the points tally ... I just think losing the job is harsh , but I don't lie I'm hoping the Saudis get rid and get someone sufficient
