I particularly like it when Dallas hacked him down, I bet Dallas loved that.

It's becoming apparent that Costa is a much more effective player than most of us have given him credit for. If winning a penalty counts, then that was 2 assists and a goal tonight as well as being a handfull throughout.

Oh and did you notice he won the penalty driving into the left hand corner of the box...not bad for a right winger.

Klich is one cool fecker under pressure. <laugh>

I’ve been absent till now cause I had to do the airport run at full time, young lad back from that England for the first time in six months.

Just been basking in the post-match Sky analysis and now starting to wade through the earlier posts, so sorry if there’s a few from me now in a flurry. <cheers>

Was class today.Maybe he was saving himself for when he was a Leeds owned player, 1 game 2 assists and a goal.

    Totally agree.

He's been steadily improving all season and I'll admit I judged him too early, should have given him more time to settle and adjust to a different way of playing under Bielsa.

Make no mistake, that result has sent a tremor through the Fulham, WBA & Brentford camps.

They were hoping for a Leeds capitulation today and all got a big slap in the chops.

We sent the correct message out, I’m delighted for Marcelo and the team.

It’s ours to lose now, and I believe last year’s pain is still too raw for this squad to allow that to happen again.

    MOT! :emoticon-0169-dance

One other thing - 19 shots, 11 on target. Sometimes the last two seasons we didn’t get 11 on target in a month, or maybe it just felt like that.

    Are we learning?

I’ve said time and again, we’re in a different class finishing when we hit the ball first time. No tipping and tapping. Some quality first time strikes tonight especially Paddy’s. Add in paddy’s and klichs from Blackburn game

Agreed. I love the way we control the game under Bielsa, and the way we’re so comfortable in possession in tight areas, but we’re ridiculously good on the counter attack when we have to make quick decisions and execute them on instinct. I think that may actually work to our favour if we do go up, as we may not boss quite as many games as we do currently!

I could be wrong, but Costa seemed to be playing with a lot of confidence, I wonder was signing permanently anything to do with it.<ok>

It must affect the player and his family. Not knowing if you are remaining at Leeds, going back to the midlands or being shipped off elsewhere. Getting his contract done and dusted might just help us over the line.

The thing with Costa is that he has so much pace. Even when he has one of his frustrating games he still affects how teams have to play against him. He is pacey and direct. A defenders worst nightmare. I maintain the stance that he would be much more effective on the left. I'm convinced we would see more assists and goals from there.

Costa showed last night why Wolves fans got frustrated with him, the ability is there, the consistency isn't.

It must be sweet after what must seem like decades of visiting the New Den. You got promoted from League 1 with them, pity Millwall couldn't join you in the PL.
