Also since lock down we clear the first man at corners. It's now a positive when we win a corner

Something I have noticed due to no crowds...Lloris is always instructing, shouting etc...I was always dubious due to his external demeanour that he’s a bit soft but he’s got it. Son got a well deserved slap...nothing worse than a lazy bastard team mate.

Clean sheet and 3 points...I’ll take that...was a beautiful game because it was a beautiful result

plus I saw a lack of effort get pulled up by the Captain

It shows Lloris cared and gave a massive ****. Son has been dogshit since the return and needs to fix up tbh.

Moura hasn’t scored in 17 games either now...this is what Mourinho is working with. He can’t put the ball in the back of the net for them.

We've been doing that ever since Lo Celso started taking corners, which doesn't reflect well on the bloke taking them for the previous few seasons...

Jamie Redknapp's right in what he said in the post-match analysis, rather unusually.
Son didn't do his job against Sheffield United either and it resulted in them scoring.
He's really not been on it since his injury/military service/the break.

We're going to need to make changes against Bournemouth, even though they're abject at the moment.
Benching Son would be a start. Moura should probably join him, though his ability to run at them might see him keep his place.
Any further changes will probably be limited by our lack of options.

What an appalling football match that was - It is hard to believe that there was £500m of 'talent'on show last night and that cost is split pretty much down the middle between the 2 teams. Just goes to show that you don't get much for your money these days and its worth considering that 2 of the better players last night Winks for us and Gordon for them cost nothing.

I would like to thanks Ancelotti for putting first Iwobi and then Siggurdson in direct opposition to Aurier as they were both so ineffective as to make Serge look almost competent.

Bournemouth next who have been appalling, so expect a match of similar quality, but if we can get a similar result I would currently take that.

Now that the players have had a few games under their belts , is it time to stop the drinks break unless the temp is extreme , watching last night it was little more than a team talk , if it carries on like this can we expect time outs or the game played in quarters

Dier gets a four game ban for an incident 127 days ago in which we’ve played 5 domestic games since. Guendouzi can grab someone by the throat though and get nothing.

FA really are a set of ****s. Anyone would think they knew there was an NLD coming up on Sunday...

Hope Jose goes full Jose and rips into them now.

As usual the one set of rules for us and another for the FA's favoured clubs

He should be thanked for his restraint and protecting his brother. No doubt the reason his brother was getting problems was because he was Dier's brother so it's perfectly reasonable he should step in to protect him. The FA!! what would we expect they never show any kind of understanding of the real world because they don't inhabit it. Classic example of how self appointed 'powerful' people make decisions not wanted by the people who play the game or watch the game. Money is their only criteria for decisions. Just remember they refused Clough the chance to manage England because he was cleverer than them. They sacked Venables because 'the working class boy used the same methods they have but didn't have the 'old boy network' to keep him safe. They are as you describe DH.

If he appeals I bet it won’t take them 127 days to hear it.

Gareth Southgate sent an unsolicited letter to support Eric , very decent of him and apparently the FA wanted a 6 match ban just to show how out of touch these ****wits are with football

Oh well, Toby and Sanchez for the rest of the season

...mainly because Foyth, Tanganga and Fagan-Walcott are all out injured

What poor bastard had to put this together?

Really didn't capture the mind-numbing boredom of the full match.

The initial one barely had two minutes of action in it

    ...much like the match itself
