For those interested in what is happening on the other side of the pond, there is a lot of chatter that Biden will pick Senator Tammy Duckworth as his running mate: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tammy_Duckworth Happy to confess I'd not heard of her before today, but whatever one thinks of her politics (if you know any of it!), her military service is impressive as is her reaction to her double amputation. Would obviously also be a potential first disabled VP, first female VP and first Asian-American VP. Big contrast to Trump and Biden. One to watch anyway.
Very nice of Ritchie Sambora to save me a pretty penny on stamp duty on the impending purchase of my post-divorce abode, bless his cotton socks and self-heating tea mug.
I’ve not read the detail yet but the cynic in me is suggesting some wealthy people will be hoovering up some nice £499k apartments in the near future. I’ve put my place on the market as of today coincidentally so this could be handy.

The internet is not always the best place for culinary definitions: Q- What is the difference between a roll and a BAP? A- The difference between roll and bap is that roll is the act of rolling, or state of being rolled while bap is a soft bread roll, originally from scotland.
To be honest, I didn't read beyond the headline. I assumed it was just a PR stunt for him but tell me if I should read more...
Or he's realised how **** all the other candidates are As an independent I guess it would be pretty difficult for him to form a government if he did actually get in
The deadline has passed for him in certain states so it’s a fairly bizarre publicity stunt at best and a blatant attempt from an unhinged nutter Trump fanboy to sway a few votes away from Biden at worst. Americans are pretty ****ing special even by our standards so it will probably make a difference.
I wonder whether his position has changed at all in the last few months - BLM, COVID aren't exactly likely to have boosted Trump's popularity in the black community
