    Impossible to say. Our last PL season had around 5k less fans in attendance on average (we've had seasons in the Championship higher), so clearly the shine had worn off and combined with the Allams being ****ing arseholes, clearly there was a good chunk who were done. Add the fact that concessions were axed, and it was always going to go downhill regardless of division.

    I think we would've had an average well below 20k.

    After our first season in the PL (where we sold out every every seat/every game) our support, unless one of the 'big' teams were in town dropped to below full capacity - it would seem that the PL whores weren't so keen on yer Fulham's, Everton's and West Brom's etc as they were on their beloved red scousers, Man U's & Chelsea's etc. The Allam's and their sheninigans, plus having a struggling team obviously hasn't helped but, a lot of our fans are fickle; I've always maintained that our real hardcore** are as fanatical as any, there just aren't enough of them, and for whatever reason - there never was.

    I'm not hardcore, never was and never will be - I missed whole seasons when my kids were growing up, taking my daughters to hockey matches and my son to football and county chess competitions took precedent over football. I went a lot before I had kids and started again when they were doing their own thing in Dolan's final couple of years.
