I missed going to Wembley in 2015 I was away in Norway, & now I am going to miss another Wembley trip.
Yes that was a shame. Could have been an even better evening. Not that I enjoyed much of the game to be honest
Credit to Barton, he took defeat well. He did mention that they would beat us 9 times out of ten. League at home Wycombe 1 Fleetwood 0 League away Fleetwood 1 Wycombe 1 Play off away Fleetwood 1 Wycombe 4 Play off home Wycombe 2 Fleetwood 2 Maths not his strong point To be fair though, they were the better side tonight, by far
Steady on Guy.........blimey. Well done Wycombe that will piss a few off in the league. Anyone for a Posh do?
When you look over the the two legs a great defensive display, over the two legs Wycombe 22 shots 13 on target & 6 goals which is a very good return & Fleetwood had 24 shots 5 on target, of which two were penalties. That I think is where we won it.
Do you really give a monkey's rear end what Barton or anyone else says for that matter. Fact. Wycombe did not lose a game over the two legs. Fact. Wycombe are at Wembley in the final of the play offs. Those two facts are the only ones that matter. It's gonna be a tough game against Oxford. They are a decent side.
There is one sure way to beat Oxford - stop them from scoring. If we can do that we must win - eventually
Another way might be if I bet Oxford to win. Can someone bet on Oxford to win at 11/10 if I send them the money beforehand
What price were Southampton to beat Man City the other day? Bookies odds mean nothing as we all know. As far as I can see it's evens all round.
It's a one off game poxford may have been made favourites but that doesn't mean anything. We can beat em and get promoted and that would really piss off the posh and Sunderland fans . No one has a divine right to go up and they are just pissed off that their so called big time Charlie's weren't good enough to go up automatically. COYB
When we played Poxford away just before Xmas we started the game well and should have taken the lead after 2 mins when Jorden Archer pulled off a great save from Kashket's shot then Gape went off injured after after 9 minutes then after 23 minutes Poxford took the lead after Alsop spilled a shot three minutes later Bayo picked up a second yellow after some playacting by Mousinho after that it was a damage limitation exercise, with a fully fit squad things thing will be better we were missing Fred and Grimmer back then
Four of their starting line up left the club in the January transfer window Archer to Fulham Fosu to Brentford Baptiste to Brentford and Cadden end of loan spell
But haven't they been doing well lately (prior to lockdown). Who replaced the ones that left? They can't be too bad
