16:50 Newton Abbot - Lord Bryan

(Stable that does well with its jumpers when the ground is good or good-to-firm. Should be suited by distance. Fully capable of running a good race. 6/1 available at time of writing, might drift a bit?)

Edit: Ran an awful race, jumped very badly. The big drift in price certainly gave an accurate hint. :(

Not quite good enough, although saw off what looked the serious opposition easily enough. As jocks go Kielan Woods is one of my favourites, rarely gives a bad ride and I knew we were in trouble when I saw him coming to challenge. I think its fair to say that the good Dr has found improvement from both those horses today but hit the woodwork twice. He really is exceptional at improving other peoples lost causes.
Sorry the tip wasnt quite good enough.

Nothing wrong with hitting the crossbar Stick. At least you hit the woodwork today, unlike me who knocked it into the carpark<doh>

Nice trebble for Emma Lavelle today. Well done anyone whose landed a winner today.

Whereabouts in Cyprus? I think I covered most of it 50 odd years ago. Would be nice to see/hear how it has changed. I spent 3 weeks in Kyrenia and Sir Alf Ramsey was staying at the same hotel. Lovely beaches at Famagusta with really clear water and Troodos mountains (scary drive when we went (in a coach). Got invited to a wedding and a party in the hills at night with a sea view. A priest, or whatever they were called apparently had 40 kids and was a bit of a rogue by all accounts. Interesting evening that was <laugh>

Kissonerga, its between Paphos and Coral Bay.
The virile Priest did indeed cover his flock.
We were at Coral Bay last year and enjoyed the holiday but we much prefer a quieter location. Dont get me wrong i will still get dragged into Paphos for the mrs to shop but at least she has agreed a visit to the Tombs of The Kings.

Ron, Just been informed Cyprus not accepting flights from UK till August. Not happy as Scotland is being lumped in with Englands rate for covid.

We picked the tickets up on Monday 6th flying out Wed 15th. I know the girl that has the travel agency she phoned me Thurs to give me the heads up that Cyprus were not accepting any passengers who had been in UK 14 days prior to arrival date. She called me last night told me Jet2 have not yet confirmed we are cancelled but it looks like 1st August before Cyprus will be accepting anyone from UK. There will be no probs getting money back as we cant move to a later date. My daughter is expecting, her husband is a site manager and he is having to lodge due to the 4 hour commute to site starting on 1st week August and we need to be available for her and my wee grandaughter.
Never know Nicola might get a corridor for Scotland due to our low rate but i am not holding my breath. I know some on here have slated Sturgeon but they really should not throw stones in their glasshouse as she shows Boris up as a total and utter idiot. Cheers Rudey i appreciate your thinking of us.
Maybe its a blessing in disguise we might have bumped into the Priest Ron mentioned and the Mrs would have come home pregnant hehehe
