Tend to agree. When posting on here after a match, I always referred to him as Hilda or Helda, depending on who turned up.

Thought I was the only one trying to be smart until he was having another bad game & some guy close by was ripping into him, and calling him Helga! Great minds, or ...... :D

Really not sure about this one.

Scottish football is very poor. Celtic aren't. So when you're a striker for Celtic, you're going to score loads & loads of goals.

That'll be down to pathetic opposition & great supporting players around you. A little skill helps too, of course.

I honestly believe that most strikers would do well in that circumstance - even Bamford!

And at £40m too ....... (don't have an emoji for burnt fingers).

I thought when we signed Bogusz we had got a lad who was going to be a top player. I thought he would be in contention for a first team place long before now although I suppose there is still time.

Bogusz played the whole match against Stoke when we lost on penalties in the Carabao Cup. His energy levels were excellent considering it was his debut and I thought his movement was impressive. Playing in an attacking midfield role he found spaces between the lines and looked a threat, especially second half when we had Stoke on the ropes.

Really expected to see him used from the bench after that but it seems Robbie Gotts has upsurped him for that role. I'm guessing Robbie has shown more consistancy in both training and for the U23's and we have to trust Bielsa's judgement. Still time for Mateusz though, he's only 18 and should get stronger and hopefully show improvement over the next year or so.

The logic makes sense to me Jammy - as long as we do our part we're no worse off and it keeps them hopeful as you say. I small a draw though.

I said the same when I watched Kalvin Phillips look well out of his depth in a number of championship matches.

stick to your instincts, you’re right - if Fulham finish above us it’s because we have totally capitulated, so it’s irrelevant because at least 1 of West Brom and Brentford will too.

it’s more important they have skin in the game against West Brom

At the risk of sounding like I always disagree with you...

Somewhat thrown in at the deep end for his debut I thought Robbie did just fine. Made loads of forward runs into the box which meant he was covering an awful lot of ground and so understandably tired, of course he's very much a work in progress but definitely way too soon to right him off.

    Bielsa has his favourites.

If you're not on his favourites list, you don't get a look in.

all managers have favourites, maybe bielsa just believes he picks the best 11 to get a result and doesn’t change his mind every week

Meanwhile the ever alert B.B.C are reporting that forest are leading forest. In fact Fulham are one up and the second half is underway.

Disagree. Everyone got found out against Arse in the second half. And how can you write someone off based on a match against a PL team?

Not sure if you'd have read my report late last year when I spoke about Gotts at an u23 match at ER. He was immense.

I have a habit of comparing playing styles to players of old. I explained this to the stranger next to me, and told him that on this occasion, I felt that Gotts was playing very similarly to 'he who can not be compared to'. Yes, Billy. Not for the whole game - he couldn't possibly have maintained that intensity - but he was so, so impressive is a number of long spells. He was captain, all over the field, making killer passes, lots of killer tackles/interceptions (some very dodgy indeed), and driving the team on like a proper captain. The funny thing is, the stranger next to me wholly agreed! He also had never seen so much of Billy in a player & was as dazzled as I was.

Now you think he won't make it, & you have the right to think so, but I think he has marvellous potential (in addition to what he's showing already). I'm sure if you were right, a certain Snr Bielsa would agree & bin him. Lots of examples of this in the u23s. But guess what - he's been an almost permanent fixture on the bench, & even got playing time.

I guess what I'm saying is that Snr Bielsa is a world class coach & continues to favour him. Are you saying you know better than Snr Bielsa? Based on 1 game? Really?

I'd prefer a draw. Florist 9 behind and Fulham 7 behind
