Fergal does very well with horses after a long lay off (7 from 39 since 2015), as such I have backed the awfully named Cheltenam De Vaige today. He isn't an imposing horse, but you would like to think that he is very well handicapped. The yard have started the season well and this horse could give them another winner.
Darling Maltaix is a frustrating horse to follow, he clearly has ability but he didn't finish his races as well as he should last season. Due to that, he is very well handicapped and today fresh could be the best time to catch him. I think he could hack up on the bridle today.
In terms of well handicapped horses, the horses from last season at Ben Pauling must be well handicapped, Hidden Glen has gone to the good Dr, and has been supported in the market, whilst in the same race Pauling has For Luck who must be well treated too.
Shareef Star is better than the bare form of his debut over hurdles. He shouldn't have been 16/1 this morning against Ashutor who is a rascal to say the least.
Finally Kendelu is interesting for the forums third favourite jumps trainer, he showed glimpses of promise last season and is another on a basement handicap mark. He was too big this morning at 18/1 and I still think he is value at double figure odds.
