Moura with the first attempt of the game after 20 minutes. It's been poor.

1-0. Lo Celso. Took a massive deflection. Might be an OG.

I would say vamos, Gio but that’s 100% an OG, ball was going well wide by the looks of it <laugh>

Drinks break. No VAR check for the Kane offside? Keane OG is the official verdict.

Holgate, no red? That was evil

Served him right, it was so vicious he's hurt himself in the tackle

Holgate booked for hacking down Lo Celso on the edge of the box. Dangerous break. Poor tackle.

Mason Holgate hobbles off, having injured himself fouling Lo Celso. Replaced by Sanchez's international teammate, Mina.
Sounds like there's a low-flying plane, which the commentators are ignoring. Matches pre-match rumours.

Lloris should claim that. Calvert-Lewin's header was tame and shouldn't give them another corner.

5 minutes of injury time. Seems a bit excessive.

Some shambolic defending to see out the half. That's awful.

Hugo and Son close to scrapping when going off there. Presume Hugo bollocked him for not getting the ball which led to Richarlison having that late shot.

What was that between Hugo and Sonny? Didn't look good

1-0 HT. We've been the better side overall, but neither team has created virtually anything. It's a poor game.
Lloris absolutely losing it with Son at the end, just to add to the tension. Great.
We need far more going forward and some service for Kane would be nice, too.

Well we got through a poor first half with a lead. That's too much competence for some tho as if we have to go off with 2 of our players fighting. Well done you nob heads <ok>

If only Son showed the same passion in that spat with Hugo in his first four games since the restart, he might have a goal or two. Been probably our worst player since resumption. Would have zero qualms if Jose hauled him off.

The Richarlison chance near the end seemed to come from a load of poor defending, starting right up the pitch.
It started on Son's side of the pitch too, as he got nowhere near Mina. I think that's what caused it.

For the love of Cthulhu, don't sit back for the entire second half...

Iwobi replaced by Gordon at half-time. That's two sub windows used by them, so a late triple might be on the cards.
