There is a massive difference between the head of state and his investment fund.... who Raab has been falling over himself to court for investment (publicly and privately).... and the 20 thugs implicated in that blokes slice and dice episode.

No member of PIF is on the Government lists. This is a measure to bring in our own human rights legislation post Brexit to comply with the ECHR. They are targeting indivuduals and organisations.

The UK Government has lucrative trade deals with Saudi. The individual listed are those provided by the Saudi Government in co-operation with the UK Government to allow enforcement of human rights abuses in UK Courts.

This is actually a good thing because non of the people involved in buying nufc are on the list , so the premier league are ****ed if they try using the murder issue to fail it.

 

It effectively kills any morality argument. Our own Government has identified that neither Crown Prince Bin Salman nor any active member of PIF is involved in human rights abuses.

The Government has closed the morality argument. Khassoggi's fiancee no longer has grounds to complain to the PL.

 

I doubt this takeover will happen, however if it fails because of the Saudis involvement in human rights issues and the odd murder here and there, I hope they sue the bollocks of the complainents and then cut their f*cking heads off.
I just hope legitimate doubters don't get sh*t on by petty atrocities blinkering the believers who appear to gaining in numbers.
