This is reality, this waking up the day after beating City. The previous three seasons were all a bad dream.
when did you see a match with no mistakes? great performance but let’s not get carried away!! One of Jack’s good blocks was after he’d set the chance up on a plate for Silva. KWP was excellent but he also rolled the ball into the path of Fernandinho when he hit the post and miss hit a clearance across the 6 hard box that lead to another shot that someone blocked ... credit where credit is due, we threw ourselves on the line yesterday to protect that lead, but let’s not make out there were no mistakes. There were a few but we played great and the good far outweighed the errors.
Agreed. I also disagree with writing off Valery, there is a player there. KWP has been unreal since coming in though
Haven’t bought newspapers during lockdown but thought I would as we won yesterday. The Mail had a nice series of pictures showing Che’s goal...but the article was all about City. They obviously had a lot of the game and the most attacks, but a bit more about Saints would have been welcome.
Watched the highlights this morning and still had my fingers crossed when Citeh took their free kick. I keep checking the results page just to make sure it really happened. Might be certain of the result by Monday night. I keep expecting the Premier league to cancel football again, thereby making the game null and void.Just because I am paranoid don’t mean they aren’t out to get my team.
Puts it into perspective really. - considering the squad Puel inherited 46 points was a pretty **** return, despite us finishing 8th.
Very proud of the boys yesterday everyone played a part all 10s for me. Glad to see Che get his first goal and I hope that will give him the boost of confidence he needs.
Onwards and upwards, or something. In a fit of enthusiasm, I'm trying to find a (free) method of watching Everton v Saints on Thursday. It is (apparently) being broadcast on Amazon Prime. Is there a non-dodgy way of accessing this fixture, without needing to subscribe to, and pay for, Amazon Prime? As a STH, I've received the two codes for 'free' viewing, but these only mention NOW TV Sky Sports passes, not Amazon Prime. I've e-mailed the club to ask if there is any way of viewing the game, but I thought I'd ask everyone on here the same question. Otherwise, it'll be Radio Solent with 'Whispering Dave' Merrington, plus updates from Not606.
It's free on Amazon. So you shouldn't need to subscribe (I'd have thought). Failing that, they do a free trial.
Thanks for this, St Brendy. I did see the 'free' wording, but I'm cynical enough to take any 'free' offer with a large pinch of salt. It is usually 'free' when you provide credit card details, and/or you need to cancel a 'free' trial, that becomes surprisingly difficult to cancel. I'll see if the club can suggest anything else.
I've had a response from the club, in which they said that there is, sadly, no means of the club providing an 'Amazon Prime' pass, or similar, to watch the match at no cost. I may have to take a leap of faith and sign up to Amazon Prime, as per St Brendy's and St Luigi's suggestions.
How anybody thinks Aurier is better than KWP I’ll never know but I just want Spurs to continue believing this until we sign KWP up! An absolutely superb performance by him and the rest of the team. UTS!
I've stumbled across these sites whilst surfing the net https://www.crichd.sx/live http://firstrowsportes.com/soccer
Thanks, saintrichie. I will dip my toe into the metaphorical water of Amazon Prime, to see if their generous offer of 'Totally Free' involves any commitment on my part. Is there a 'selling your soul' clause in the small print?
