Villa won't be complaining, but this is up there as one of the worst matches since lockdown. Dreadful.
Really? I thought Villa have not just been resolute, but also brave. Credit to them. Pool still nursing the hangover mind........
Players/managers have too much respect and love for each other and football is much worse for it. Whatever happened to the days of Rpy Keane vs Patrick Viera
I’ve been wondering if the absence of a crowd has had an effect on referees....not on cut and dried decisions, but on those marginal ones. Based on no evidence at all...but just a gut feeling about how human beings behave...I wonder if they are letting things go and the game to flow more without the howls from the crowd demanding action for minor infringements. And, similarly, are the players more placid in the absence of support from their own fans?
I think I agree with you. It is a bit like PMQT without the baying which enables Starmer to show just what an incompetent buffoon Johnson is. Perhaps football should be played without the crowds from now on.
I know we love to loathe WHU, or is it just their directors? As SFC came up with WHU, it is good when both have good seasons. Hopefully, SFC can continue their upward progess next season, and I'm certain WHU will also be very different if they decide to thank Moyes and appoint a fresh, dynamic young coach.
WHU are a large threat to our points accumilation. Life would be easier without them. Nothing personal.
Yeah I don’t get all the hate, far worse teams. Might be an age thing. I remember Di Canio, Sinclair, Kanoute, Joe Cole etc when I was a very young kid Just getting into football and them being great to watch. They also scored my favourite ever PL goal
My dislike is irrational (though perfectly rational for a Saints fan)....they nearly took our 2nd spot in the Championship with the possibility that after a great season we’d have the horrors of the play offs. Unforgivable.
