Eurosport have ‘captain’ Dale Stephens as man of the match. Personally I thought he was a bit anonymous...
Re-watching Che's goal a few times on the BBC site, love the reaction of the one fan/ball person in that end and the look of disgust on Sterling's face.
It is frustrating that fans were unable to attend what was probably the best Saints home performance since Koeman left. This was an incredible results against the best footballing team in the country.
All he needs to do now is to win the FA Cup and he'll go down as the joint best manager in the club's history.
there are just two other things I would like from this season: Danny to score four more away goals & snatch the golden boot while breaking three long standing Saints records. James to bang in another free-kick to equal LeTiss and cement himself into folklore. That would do me right now.
Five wins from five please, getting us 8th place which becomes eligible for Europa qualification. I don't ask for much.
I think Ralph has now finally nailed down his preferred 11, It's up to other players to dislodge them now!! When ever I see that line up, I don't see superstars , but a team with ability fighting for each other from the first minute to the last. I love it.
I'd be happy not to see Hoj, Valery or Danso play for us again. When I see a match with no mistakes, it makes me dislike the mistakes even more.
I thought saints were fabulous, wanted it so much more than City Reminded me of the 2013 game where you won 3-1 and outfought us
That nonsense by Puel will drive me bonkers for the rest of my life. Madness. Threw away a chance to get to the knock out rounds Ralph is a legend ... and ... 4 more years!
It's Monday morning, and I'm either still dreaming, or I'm awake, and Saints did win yesterday. At home. Against a team that dismantled Liverpool. It's one hell of a dream! Oh, and by the way, this has been mentioned before, but just in case: WE ARE STAYING UP!!
Saints were right in principle to sack Puel because he wasn’t right for us, but wrong in hindsight when you think what followed him. Would Puel have nearly got us relegated? However, we are now back on track with a proper Saints manager able to get the best from his team and to inspire both the players and fans. As a fan of long-standing however, I know Saints are well able to banjax everything during the closed season. How often have we happily gone into the holibobs thinking all is right with the world and then.....
