G Jesus isn't as good as Aguero. (in fact he's just not really that good) Mahrez is really greedy The defence is **** Ederson thinks he's a midfielder The fullbacks are failed wingers who can't defend B.Silva spends too much time 'falling over' coughdivingcough Fernandinho is a dirty ****er. Just some thoughts
That Southampton performance was typical of the sort of performance that they would put in against us in the past when we were merely battling for top 4, so it was pretty gratifying to see City on the receiving end of one of them
City are mentally weak. No one is prepared to step up if the 12th man wearing black doesn't do it for them.
Man City can now achieve a maximum of 81 points in the Premier League this season. When the competition was suspended in March, Liverpool had 82 points. Liverpool could have lost every game after the PL resumption and yet still be crowned champions.
As someone who said abandoning the season was "the right thing to do" have you changed your mind now?
I #calledit during the Great Null And Void Debates, the problem isn't how many Liverpool will win but how many more Man City will lose
I think it's crazy that any sports fan would ever even consider null and voiding any competition that's almost complete. Are we presuming that none of the voiders are watching the season out?
Nope, I still stand by that opinion. And yesterday was the first game I've watched (as i was at a friends). Not that it matters now.
Perhaps, though I also know of someone who supports you lot who didn't think it should restart. Then again you were never gonna lose anything either I suppose. Personally it had nothing to do with that for me. I was against it anyway but my mind was made up to not give Sky any money or viewing figures when in the same week that players were allowed to tackle/grapple each other my old dear wasn't allowed to attend her Aunt's funeral. Still doesn't sit right with me now that 25 people plus can play a contact sport while there's limitations on funeral attendances but each to their own.
The loudest voices were from those who potentially had a lot to lose - namely those at the bottom end of the table and those at the top end, thinking the league could be reset to the start of the season and they would still be in a European place. The rest of the null and voiders just didn't want Liverpool to have the title.
I'm not really interested in going over old ground to be honest, I've said it all hundreds of times on this board. See above for a more personal reason.
A lot to lose, Liverpool were so close to winning the title last year, and this season, we are running away with, how come we don't have anything to lose?
Because you were never not going to get the title. If it wasn't completed you still would have been awarded the league, and rightfully so. All moot now anyway.
