What have I just watched? Who wasn't man of the match? And in an empty stadium. What a performance!

Don’t applaud. Just throw money. Che scores and we beat Citeh. Under promise, over deliver.

McCarthy, KWP, Stephens and Bednarek all 10/10. Sensational. Everyone else can have a 9.

To think we didn't insert an option into KWP's loan deal. To think that Spurs rate Aurier above him. To think that he was warming our bench behind Valery.

As I said earlier, by forcing them to play down the flanks we reduced them to just one free kick in a dangerous position.
The entire performance was so disciplined. I haven’t seen the stats but there didn’t seem to be too many free kicks, which indicates that we weren’t diving in, but picking our tackles.
Very, very impressive and the first time that any Pep managed team has lost 3 consecutive away games.

Well now. Well, well, well. It's not often you could put forward a cogent argument for every single player to be MOTM and genuinely be able to back it up. That was a phenomenal shift. Let's just swap PEH for KWP now and acknowledge the symmetry in acronym balance.

Has this laid to rest the "We've got rubbish home form" idea? Or do we now play all of our home games in an empty St Marys?

To be fair he messaged me at the final whistle with congratulations, so I'll let him have a night of recovery and ring tomorrow!! What a result, so pleased for Che too.
