No more moaning on here than at any other point in the season.

Personally, I don't think any of our players have gone in ther pitch thinking they'd take it easy. My comment to you was in response to you suggesting that was the case.

No one is moaning about the club or league position.

Its about the players on the pitch and how they perform.
They are professional footballers and I expect them to approach every game with the right attitude, no matter the circumstances.

We've won the title and I expect the players to go our there and show why.

This should be a victory tour, not 'oh well we've already won it'

Yeah, thought we deserved the win after bringing on the A team.
Not really surprised Villa made that awkward for us, they can be dangerous at times

Spot on. They're still getting paid. It's not money for old rope, even now

Unlike united, for instance, we've got a tricky run-in

Ref waved away two #nailedon penalties. The early one especially would have opened the floodgates.

Thought Origi was poor today. Looked lazy and uninterested
He's a guy that should be giving eveything he's got to prove that he deserves to stay.

If he's going to play like that, because there is nothing at stake?, then I'd say not to bother. Give the game time to Jones or Elliott (Jones showed more in his 10 min cameo than most of the team)

Think today might be the nail in the coffin, he'll be sold this summer.

Who can afford him? He's a bit average, but still we would want £30m I reckon. Then who would we get to replace him?

I would have like Werner, but since thats not happening nor does it look like anyone else in terms of transfers.

So, I'd rather see Jones, Brewster and Elliott used more. They've got more energy and drive to prove themselves.

Origi is lazy and only bothers when he feels like it. Lets face it he's got it easy, sits on the bench behind and plays occasionally.

My word, that was a struggle to watch and I suspect it will be the same for the remaining games.

As much as we expect the team to continue performing at high levels, they are humans and their level of motivation will drop naturally. This team is built on intensity and being relentless, and when that drops 1-2%, it's very telling.

I do want the record no. of points but clearly the motivation isn't there for the team which is fine as they will treat this as a pre-season. I just hope we continue using the fringe players and young players more, and getting them up to speed. For e.g Keita. I didn't think he was great last night but he was arguably the best of a bad bunch. Really wanted Taki to play instead of Origi as I feel he is a more like for like for Bobby.

Neco Williams and Curtis Jones should get minutes as well.

Keita is frustrating me. There is a decent player in there but he needs more urgency in his game. We'll counter or play a couple of quick passes then he gets the ball and bang, we've got to start again because he's been too slow.

I was fairly disappointed in Keita yesterday ,however everyone was off colour which won't have helped , but in fairness he was the one who picked out the first time pass which led to the opener .

Hmm I disagree somewhat. I think he's the pretty much the only one who is looking to get the ball up the pitch. There was hardly any movement ahead of him hence why he looks slow on the ball because he's waiting for an option. There was also a moment when Mane was 1vs1 on the right side and he literally stood on the ball for 10 seconds and there was no one making any options for him. Summed up the whole match really.

My criticism of Naby is that needs to be more assertive. He should be demanding the ball because when he does get it, he can produce the goods. The assist was brilliant.

Having said that, he has played relatively good since the restart so I hope there is more to come from him.

Ox on the other hand ...

Yep it wasn't great. But he does always look to get the ball forward and take risks.

It was a dire match all round. Expect the same in the coming weeks!

Pretty much. Said it during the game he just doesn't take control and risks, let's it pass him by. Which is what the Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum midfield used to bother me.

Chamberlain looks like a player who will never get back to where he was a couple years ago prior to his injury, really had a drive, now he looks just bang average and no involvement at all.

We have Fabinho to disrupt things, Henderson or Wijnaldum for energy, but no one to take control with great ability on the ball

Yeah, it was a wearing down process v Villa and it was Naby who picked the lock eventually.
Not his best game but it was a lacklustre performance from the team
