Yeah bit like 'good afternoon grapple fans' on a Saturday afternoon, whilst waiting for Bob colston to read the football results at 5pm, whilst eating egg n chips for me tea. Happy days.
On the topic of televised RL, do they still do it on Saturday afternoons ? My mate & I were hoping to get to the Hull FC & Hull KR fixtures at Toronto Wolfpack's ground this season (I've played football on there in the past - was artificial turf - horrible stuff) but this COVID crap may mean the games will be played in Hull rather than over here. They're trying to come up with a plan. The thought of Hull eggchaser fans roaming the streets of Toronto ! Lock up your daughters
No RL league games on the BBC nowadays. Other than RL Challenge cup games. Highlights show for 45 mins every Monday night. Which is pretty good. PS...My cousin Ash who lives opposite High Park in downtown Toronto follows the Wolfpack. Right handy for the metro his place. Virtually next door.
Yeah I watched it and nearly turned it off (due to it being ****, not cos it was gory) then got strangely interested in it Not a great film, but picked up a few awards I think and had a couple of good moments.
Watched Kelly's Heroes when on holiday in Blackpool on a wet afternoon in 1971 (I think). Watched Zulu in Darlington with a lass from Middleton St. George. The lights came on for the intermission and she had a handful of my naughty bits. Bit embarassing but great memories.
