    Saudis will want to win this. They very much hate losing face,

    Personally hate how this has kind of shat on football. Without the backing of a state you can’t be ambitious, is the message it sends. So what’s the point? It will start to alienate fans. You can see why they can’t fill the Etihad.

    Actually hope this **** fails. Just to see the hilarious legal fallout from it all and possible collapse. They need to just cap ****ing everything - fees, salary, poaching, etc.

    I’m not getting involved with your take over discussion, none of my business . I just want to say I agree with capping things . F1 teams have a budget cap of about $145 Million starting next year , so the big teams will have to lat staff off . Drivers salaries are not capped , so people losing their jobs and some drivers getting north of £25 million . Sorry , that’s obscene.
