The difference between Adam Pearson and Assam Allam is simple. One tried to change the name and had stupid ideas and said stupid things. Adam Pearson didn’t.
Exactly Do people think we have another 8 or 16 thousand “diehard” arf fans tucked away who didn’t go to Chelsea??? Get real
No!!! You can't answer the question because you're surmising. My point is,this Club would have plenty of support,Allams or not,If we were a Premiership Club.Your theory that the Allams have driven people away is flawed and the Chelsea attendance confirmed it!!.
Like chalk and cheese. poles apart. One knew about building a bond between the club and fans, a we're in this together type of thing. The other is clueless and does stuff to piss off what fans are left over and over again.
We had 20,000+ crowds in the few years before the PL. We had 23,000+ games in League Two for ****s' sake. We had higher averages in League Two than we've had in the past couple of seasons, two divisions higher. Here's a nice comparison that has the Allams at the helm for both seasons: 2010/11 Championship season - 21,168 average attendance 2016/17 Premier League season - 20,761 average attendance
The average attendances are obviously higher in the Premier League, though the fact that we got over 23,000 in League Two rather ****s up your theory.
Yes ,I remember them back in the late 60's/early 70's.I was a regular at Boothferry park,as was my Father and my Grandfather!!!
Our average attendance for this season will be 11,552, and that is likely, as with all attendance numbers, inflated. Last time we had a lower average attendance was our last full season at Boothferry, a stadium which could barely hold 14,000 by the end.
Are we talking average attendances here or selective games? Average attendance 2003-2004 12,843 Average attendance 2004-2005 16,847 Average attendance 2005-2006 18,027 Or Average attendance 2009-2010 24,816 I'm not looking for abuse here or looking to **** up theory's,I'm not seeking petty little **** in reply.I asked you why the attendance boomed against Chelsea, when you're saying that the Allams have driven them all away?
I was putting something into the debate as to a reason for the attendance. Personally I think cheaper football all round ie as in Germany would be a good idea.
The Chelsea attendance was higher because it was the first time we’d played a big team for a while and it appealed to people who just fancied watching a Premier League team in a very cheap game (less than half the price of a League game). Our average attendances are now (before lock-down), lower than they were in the bottom tier, the Allams have quite obviously driven fans away.
Allams League Position Money We’d already lost about 6k off the gate in the last Premier League season.
What does the Chelsea FA Cup attendance prove? Totally different occasion to a league fixture. There were loads of fans in attendance that had absolutely no affiliation with Hull at that cup game. We’d have maintained a much higher level of support in the Championship if our owners hadn’t removed concessions and generally made supporting the club unappealing.
