Ollie Clarke has rejected a new con tract with the Rovers to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere according to Bristol Rovers Official twitter. Thanks for all you have done for the Gas Ollie and I wish you every success at your new club
Rovers are linked with Sam Nicholson formerly of Hearts but who has just returned / returning after his contract with MLS side Colorado Rapids. He is a left sided attacking Mid fielder
Premier league have agreed that the Summer transfer window will be from July 27th - October 5th, presumably that will apply to all divisions so it could be a while before we see any in comings though Sam Nicholson hopes his future will be sorted out by the end this week / or beginning of next week with Rovers apparently offering a better deal than Hearts at the present time
Teletext Footbal 'Gossip' page says that Bristol Rovers are favourite to sign this bloke ahead of Heart of Midlothian but who knows eh ? I have to be honest I don't know too much about the guy apart from the fact that he has been playing in the States but then that league is a bit of an old bone yard so I am not too sure how he would shape up in the hustle and bustle of an English league, especially one as 'robust' as Div three. Are we looking at another hutch bunny ?
He left Hearts when the previous manager didn't offer him a new contract but the present manager has had him in previous teams before, but our contract offer is better than the Hearts offer, though they might come back with an improved offer. Seen odd clips of him and he looks tidy
On Bristol Rovers @Official-BRFC there is a 14 second coming soon clip which was put on 27 minutes ago when I put this entry on Now 3 hours ago still saying coming soon
Tom Lockyer has a relegation release clause in his contract and is now apparently looking for a new club. Couglan thought a lot of him wonder if he will rejoin the old boss at Mansfield, well I don't think we need another CH Brandon Haunstrup has joined has joined Kilmarnock
According to Bristol Live Rovers are poised to sign a striker Jonah Ayunga from Havent and waterlooville. He is a kenyan International is 23yrs old and scored 17 goals in 30 appearances. Bristol Live were asked not to report it until after the playoffs were over, he scored against Dartford before Havant were reduced to 10 men and they couldn't hold their lead and lost the match
According to Bristol Live Zain Westbrooke looks to be Rovers next signing. He apparently has agreed a 3 year deal. He was part of the Coventry side that has just that has just been promoted to the championship. At 23 years old he looks to be the type of signing that Ben Garner is looking for an attacking Midfielder he scored 4 goals in 23 appearances Tony Craig has signed for Crawley town for the coming season
Is any body getting worried like me 6 new signings and all appear to say that the project and forward thinking of Ben Garner / Bristol Rovers is what made them sign, not used to this type of forward thinking and from clips shown and comments made by the manager they all seem to be good players, well scouted and known to our scouting staff / or manager
