We always struggled to beat Marlow, I remember going over to Marlow for a cup game and we won 1-0 with a late goal from Mckilrut or something like that
There are simply loads of clubs playing in leagues that you would if you analysed it say they shouldn't be in. My view is that you don't become a big club as a matter of right you do it by playing at a higher level and that means you have to get promotions. Just one example in more recent times is Blackpool. Big club? Should they have made it to the top league? More importantly if you asked their supporters if they would swap that experience would they? My answer to all 3 would be no but they took it when it came ready or not. If you don't play to win something then there is just no point in playing. Actually if you look at the leagues as they stand and how they will stand for next season, does it look like somebody has taken them all and shuffled the thing up putting teams where they just end up. There are many teams playing in leagues below where a lot would expect them to be. League one next season is going to look awesome club wise. Which team would you pick for all the rest to be raising their game when playing as some larger clubs would have you believe clubs do.
Well I would have started with Sunderland but things haven't been going well. The owner isn't popular and wants to sell, some fans are disillusioned. We know the feeling. Portsmouth if they don't go up. I don't know about the teams being relegated. I guess a look at their home gates will give some indication
Cruel. The times I've seen him he'll chase down and chase balls that some might not bother with. That constant harassing and willingness to run for any ball, however bad the pass might be, is the sort of fighting spirit we need at times. He isn't top class but we need a couple who will keep fighting to win the ball (and loose balls) and him and Blooms are those fighters we need to start with to make life as difficult as possible for the opposition. When they are starting to look knackered, replace them. I think we desperately need to score first to open them up and hopefully nick a second. If they score first I think we will be in trouble
i'm getting nervous now and can't face eating anything, hopefully a few pints of locasl cider will change that
