Dour football under jose ,I have seen better on a sunday afternoon in the local park.bye bye jose and dont come back EVER
2 disallowed goals and an elbow to the face not included. As PowerSpurs pointed out earlier, the VAR decision for the Kane equaliser is wrong. Moura doesn't score or create a goalscoring chance by touching the ball with his arm. It comes from the defender kicking it off his back.
So you know that theory I've spoken about before, about how Steptonho is here to bridge the gap between Poch and Joao Sacramento? Don't suppose Sacramento's been playing a lot of Football Manager in lockdown?
Jamie Redknapp's take on the disallowed goal: https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...spur/12019886/one-of-the-worst-decisions-ever I don't agree with him on most of it, especially the part about Oliver being the best ref in the league. WTF?
That's about the 50th game out of 55 where we have given away at least one ridiculous goal. All three goals had the same three mistakes. Lost a runner, didn't stop the subsequent cross and lost the striker.
Me too, something hasn’t been right with Spurs since Jan 2019 and I find myself enduring it rather than enjoying it
If Levy sacks Maureen before the end of the year then Levy has to go cos it is an admission that it was a terrible gamble to appoint him. I have no idea what the answer is btw. Maureen is our manager and so I want him to turn it round... I just have no faith that he will.
I think it's easy to underestimate the effect on the game those two appalling decisions made on the game. Without them I would have expected us to win that game. We were easily the better side and it only looked like a matter of time before we scored again. If that had happened the negative comments on Mourinho would not be justified. Having said that it is a long time since I really enjoyed a run of Spurs games. In fact you can go back to the final of The Champions League and it's been a downer ever since. I look forward to the new season except VAR will still be here, which for me is spoiling the game.
Thing is it would be financial suicide to do so too as he's on a £15m a year deal until the end of the 22/23 season. I don't want Jose sacked but what I do wanna see is our board dip very ****ing deep into their pockets this summer as I think that's the only answer. They tried sacking the previous manager in the hope results will change, that was the 'cheaper' option and it's not worked. Sacking another manager won't change anything either, there's a common denominator and that's too many players at this club who are either not good enough or not good enough any more. I can probably count on just one hand these days the players who are legitimate top 4 calibre players, 2-3 years ago we had about 12 or 13. For what it's worth I'm also not excusing Jose, he's done very little to suggest his appointment has been the right one but nonetheless he's taken over a massive turd and is being asked to polish it. The anger from the fans should be primarily focused at these players, followed by the board, then with the manager taking his fair share too.
They were carbon copies. Run to the byline and pull the ball back. ( none were crosses, they were simple balls into the player running in )
