just had a thought, with Wigan going bust what happens if our clubs plays away and nee fecker shows up, yet when we play the same club at home, we have to split the gate receipts with them, would suggest this scenario will be sorted out before the season, same applies for televised matches.
At the moment, in a League game, the away team only get their expenses but apparently sharing the gate receipts is an item on the agenda for today’s League owners meeting. We are the cash cow for this league Roger, if we take 3,000 supporters away at £25.00 a ticket the home team is pocketing £75,000 out of us, no wonder they want to keep us in this league.
