    Hi everyone,

    just wondering if anyone could help me? I am looking into getting a tattoo in the near future and as i live not to far from Newcastle (Darlington area) where are the best places to go to around the north-east. I know there is skin deep in Darlington but if there was a really reputable place in Newcastle / Sunderland i would consider going up there instead.

    Don't know where you should go but I got mine six months ago, a magpie on my right soldier that's about six or seven inches long. I love it and thinking of my next one now.

    Didn't hurt that much either, outline was a piece of cake. Colouring a little more uncomfortable but nothing that you can't just grit your teeth together and get on with. Mine took two hours but wouldn't fancy sitting for much longer in one go.

    Baz at Triple 6 in mackemland is easily one of the best in the north east, if not the whole country. Not sure how long his waiting time is these days though, last thing i heard he has cut it down...

    Yep, it really pains me.

    There's not many in Newcastle that arent up their own arseholes though unfortunetly.

    There are some pretty smart Tatts on there like, love the 7th from the bottom. 2 skulls the one in red looks awesome.

    Depends what you want of course... Colour, greyscale, portrait, Japanese... Different tattooists will have dofferen specialities.

    Unless you're just want some siqq tribal... Then you could just go anywhere. If you really, really have to get it done.

    aye he's really good and always seems busy when i walk past. theres more pics of tats on his page somewhere. he's had a load of them published in magazines etc.

    Cookie's good, his portfollio never seams that amazing, but what ive seen up close is always nice. Shame the studio feels like its in the arse end of nowhere, but if you want a decent tattoo then you've got to travel i guess...

    I'm covered in sharks, graves, owls , ships, burning roses... name of an ex I want covered, skulls etc tattooing is fantastic go get a tattoo artist not a tattooist.
