The OS mentions that Jaidi and Barnard have been training and could feature in the squad for the first time this season. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/PreviewDetail/0,,10280~2463663,00.html Might be good to see Barny on for the last 10 minutes if we need a goal? Not sure how Jaide would fit in though.
I'll respond here as i did on another thread for all those interested I live in Cardiff and have been to a few Cardiff vs Southampton games. I can't think of any pubs near by specifically for away fans but then i would normally drink with my Cardiff supporting friends anyway. One place I would stay away from (if it hasn't been torn down) is the Ninian, obviously a strongly bluebirds pub that the riff raff seem to like to go (though i have snuck in once). There is a main road (Cowbridge Road) about 15mins walk from the stadium with loads of pubs on it, best ones i would say are the The Goscombe and The Ivor Davies (Weatherspoons), but loads of others to choose from. The town centre is walkable from the stadium, would say about 45mins, and you would barely know there was a match on there, before and after the game. So would take your pick from any pubs there. I've never had any trouble from the Cardiff fans and have been openly supporting saints in the Ninian Park home end before now. Helps i am with Cardiff fans probably but most are ok. Obviously get the bad bunch like any team, just stay away from them. I will be buying my ticket on the day, hopefully in the away end but will sit in the home end again if i have to. Enjoy the game and the city, sure it will be a close one.
as pure a football experience as Cardiff away on a wednesday night would be i think i'll watch the goals come in on the bbc website. That also avoids the welsh.
Jen, contrary to your latest response, you obviously do care what I think as you saw, and responded, to my valid and quite realistic score prediction!....
just pointing out, just because i took maybe 15 seconds out of a boring day at work to write a response, doesnt mean that i care.
Your ground and fanbase is absolutely terrible. And you will soon go back into administration when your current criminal owners realise that they are flogging a dead horse. Thats a valid and realistic prediction.
the ignore list is there for a reason... I recon we can sneak this one. They'll be disappointed with the missed chances on Saturday and well up for this one. 2-1 for me, Lambert and Lallana.
southampton away travel has 7 seats left! for cardiff v saints today, private message me if u want 2 come! nick
P*rtsmouth FC reminds me of one those lobsters you see floating up side down with its tounge out in a fish tank as you walk into your local upmarket restaurant...
