I am starting to doubt their competency. They sound hopeless. If it is true that they contacted the wrong people in relation to piracy you have to wonder whether they have sent other things to wrong people.
If I was Matty and Sean was being picked ahead of me at present I'd **** off to Udinese. He's been useless this season. He literally can't pass the ball to a player in black and white. Its mad someone can look so good when arriving on the scene, like ridiculously good. He's gone from having one of the biggest clubs in the country courting him to, lets be brutal, looking like he belongs back at Blackpool right now.
Look if this is going on, which I'm not having at all, then I think they are duty bound to entertain us with a warts and all documentary showing the capers of Bill and John, PL Directors Assessment Committee. It clearly has real potential to be the next Sunderland documentary. Maybe Sky can use it to help launch their new documentary channel.
Let's be honest he had a handful of games under rafa where he looked good but overall he's proved he's crap. I mean even his body moves like he's got a tractor on his back at how old ?
Unfortunately the rot started in the 2nd half of last season though. Even before that injury in March time, he had started giving the ball away loads. The injuries weren't serious enough to be a factor either. In actual fact when you look at it he was only involved in 13-14 games, and actually only played really well for about 2 months. I still think there is a good footballer in there but unless he gets his head down, ignores the chat, then he'll quickly regress.
I don't I don't think there's a good runner in there never mind a good player ... absolutely hopeless
One of the best things when he first came on the scene was his ability to cover ridiculous amounts of ground. I remember the stat men ****ing, and it being discussed by our fans on here. By the time he picked up the 2nd injury in March, he'd turned into Michael Carrick, never ran anywhere and seemed to believe he was a world class ball player.
He looked too good for there not to be something to work with. I've said all along though Matty is more my type of footballer. Much better with the ball.
Yeah I rated Merino. Rafa would argue he couldn't put him back in because Shelvey/Diame were going so well at the time and Rafa achieved his goal of staying up. I just don't believe Merino would have hurt us in that pursuit if he'd replaced either. Its difficult to argue with him that he wasn't gonna sit and watch them when he is that age trying to develop. Such a shame because he had everything. That back injury was a bastard timing wise, but personally I think Rafa should have looked longer term and found a way to play him.
Jack colback looked good when he first played as I recall... I worry the longstaff will be the next to keep getting games until a manager realises how **** they're like 6 years down the line.
Can't agree, Sean looked absolutely stellar. His engine was fantastic, the ground he covered and he never gave the ball away. Man U don't coming knocking wanting to pay 50m that quick unless you've looked really good. He hasn't just regressed a little. He has gone back harder than Britney after the drugs. Matty is no world beater but he has potential with the right coaching.
He is at present yes. He wasn't then though, he was as good then as he is bad now. And he is really ****ing bad because he can't find a black and white shirt for toffee.
