A few performances stood out for me
Kwp - we looked in total control of the right side all match
Vest - solid performance nullified deeney
Romeu - back to his intimidating best
Smallbone - has quality about him
Adams - he looks like a good player to me. Must keep and start more
Ings - top class

 

Not sure. He's just the type of player we need isn't he, future wise? I suppose if a crazy offer comes in, but that doesn't seem likely at the moment. Maybe he's unhappy? You could see Ralph really wanted him to score. Hope we give a bit more time personally.

 

I don't know which MOTD you watched but the one I watched they were first!!!!!

 

The run that led to his shot, reminded me of Adama Traore. It was all pace and power. I’d be gutted if we moved him on. He could get 15 next season.

 

I assume it will depend how much we get for Hojbjerg/any of the players out on loan/Vestergaard

No mate........Managed to get back nearly 3 weeks ago. I watched Motd on BBC last night 22.30. On my box it was definitely the first on.
Edit...... then it had another Premier league one then the FA cup matches........

 

And god knows we need goals from more places in the pitch.... in theory.... the front two should get 30 between them.... midfielders between 5-10.... defenders 0-5 from corners, free kicks.

But our return is generally Ings, JWP, Redmond, Armstrong and occasionally someone else chips in... I’m sure Ralph is well aware and I’d like to think that he wouldnt sell che, but my fear is that Gao will see the pound signs for Hoj (Ish).... Ings, JWP, Che, etc and we’ll be back to square one and heading for the championship....

 

I thought we were the only game on Motd, then the Cup games on a separate program?

He always seems to come back strong, last a game or two and then go off the boil again. Not sure what to make of him. He’s great when he’s up for it. Just isn’t always up for it. Not been the same since Puel who obviously rated him highly. Agree totally with the rest.

 

I sure don’t want him to go and yep he seems to be everything Ralph looks for in a striker. Just needs to bloody score!! He will be sweet after that.

 

I think Watford should have had two penalties.

 

Definitely dodged the one with KWP grabbing the players arm......seen them given before.
The Bertrand one? Not for me as is was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other......even Alan Smith agreed in his commentary.

 

Definitely worth another watch.

Just over 4 years since we beat them 4-2, with a Shane Long strike followed by a Sadio Mané hat trick. Would be nice if Danny got a hat trick this time!

 

I’d have been pissed if we’d not been given that.
