A massive game today and one that both sides need to win. Brentford have hit the ground running and have applied the pressure, not good for many reasons for us, bu their tails are up.
We put in a good performance last weekend but the telling point is we didn't score and then conceded at the death. Had we scored the game would have been quite different but we didn't and the reality is we are in a much worse position to get into the automatic spots.
Scott has intimated that we have a few players in doubt in some reports, AK47 being the main worry. AK was the missing link last week, even as a sub he would have brought a different threat when it was needed. I hope he is fit, even to be on the bench when needed. The club have been silent on who has had the virus but some have not had long back in training, perhaps AK is one of these.
I'll not predict a lineup, I'll leave that to others.
We need our best performance and a little lady luck today and I'll be watching on Sky, I hope you get the chance to do so too.

Team news out and I see Arter starts. Think I might have gone with Stef, hope Harry keeps his head.

Got to put a full shift in here, quicker in attack this time and get wide. We can win this if we play to our potential which will really let the cat out of the bag. Lose it and we manage ourselves for play offs.

Playing well, should have had a pen, defo. Leeds have been poor, we're pulling them all over the pitch, hopefully they will tire in the 2nd half. If we can get the next goal I'm sure we'll go on to win. Same again 2nd half please.

That was not likely to happen. The second half was much more Leeds-like.

Seems to be the same problems all the time. Sloppy play causing our own problems, Arter for the first goal absolutely criminal, particularly when we were on top at the time. That then causes the next problem, the fact this team can't come from behind, as soon as we go a goal down it just seems to be game over, strange considering the type of player Parker was, committed and full of fight, things his team lack when going behind.

I see someone mentioned that if we lost this game then lets just manage ourselves for the playoffs, lets make sure we actually make the playoffs! Possibly a bit dramatic given it was a difficult start back against 2 of the best teams in the league but it doesn't take much in this league to get in a slump. No goals so far is an issue, Mitro looking a bit lost in games, lacking a bit of quality and end product. We need to get going again and fast, another big game coming up midweek. Not necessarily a must win, more of a must not lose just to stop the rot.

Brentford was a close game, could have gone either way. Leeds, first half played well and lost a soft goal. We've not played terrible but something is wrong. I don't think they have kept themselves fit enough through lockdown, they are missing drive and complete all out desire to win.

I'm suspected Mitro will be out for 3 games which is a huge loss so with AK out also we are forced to do something different. We need to find a rhythm and get some momentum, and there will be plenty more twists to come. I'm ever the optimist but when we lost to Brentford earlier in the season we were lamenting in the pub the poor results we've had in recent years over them. My mate said he was convinced we'd lose to them again in our home fixture but beat them in the play off final. We laughed but I've not forgotten it, and wouldn't it be just so good if that became true.

We are not converting our chances and then as said, we give some away.
We are playing better than our results show but that won't keep us in the playoff's.
We need a win desperately in midweek, fingers crossed we get some good fortune.
