Now we need to win this one .. Let's hope for lots of energy and a positive attacking play. Hopefully we can look fit unlike on Thursday - very leggy and flat. Southampton are good on the break as we know. Presume Cathcart and Doucoure will come in ?
Trouble is there will be no Gray and will Welbeck cope with another game so quickly? Deeney seems to be respected and feared more by opponents and other fans than our own tbh. Maybe use Sarr up front and hope Pereyra turns up with Pedro on the left ? Lot of angry people around - think some expected us to turn up at Burnley and win easily. Including some players maybe ?
Gray, Quina and any other squad players who went to the party, apart from being disciplined will have to self isolate now
Gray certainly has done himself no favours by his actions. Sometimes it's hard to imagine what goes through peoples minds, season restarts and he holds a party? He does not have anything to prove but, I think we would all agree, we would like to see more consistency from him.

Leftfield one here but Shakespeare has said Joao Pedro may be due for some action soon. I think there’s a possibility they may throw him on for Welbeck and give Soton a bit of a surprise.
please log in to view this image Andre Gray, Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina have all been omitted from the squad by Nigel Pearson to ensure the health & safety of all players, staff and officials at today’s game.

Pretty predictable really - let's get the ball out wide and cross the ball into Deeney where he is best..
To be honest, I'd rather see Penaranda or Pedro starting instead of Pereyra, who has been largely absent on the pitch so far. I say that because I know he will now make me eat my words by scoring a couple and setting up a couple of others...
That is Pereyra for you ... . and we know he will go off to some other continental club and do brilliantly!
So we sit down again on this damp afternoon in mistaken anticipaion of some points Enjoy the game all.
