City have a great chance today. Presume Wednesday are traveling down this morning, that must be to our advantage as will the likely omission of Fletcher. Apparently they're in a run of 1 win in 11 games so looking real positve today. COYR.
LJ is STILL persisting with Massengo. Either the lad must be brilliant in training, or there’s a secret deal with Chelsea to guarantee him game time. Not sure about O’Dowda either.
we have a habit of winning against a team and their manager leaves or gets sacked or losing thus giving them an end to a dismal run!!
Don’t get what he sees with O’Dowda but at least he has replaced Bentley and given Nikki a chance and I do like that we are starting with Afobe and Wells
33 Mäenpää 2 Hunt 29 Williams 6 Baker 3 DaSilva 14 Weimann 42 Massengo 7 Smith 11 O'Dowda 40 Afobe 21 Wells Substitutes 1 Bentley 4 Nagy 9 Diédhiou 19 Eliasson 20 Paterson 22 Kalas 26 Vyner 31 Benkovic 45 Palmer interesting line up 4 - 3 - 1 - 2 or 4 - 3 - 3 flexible …. Thought Weimann may have been available next game after isolation if it was him! there is a strong back up 5 should they wish to make a major change in second half ……
City need to look out for quick breaks … again I think we have, as do others, a weak unbalanced midfield … WAS IT REALLY WORTH IT GETTING RID OF BROWNHILL? ….. we certainly miss him now
That midfield needs far more than a Brownhill, Smith is struggling, Massengo is not strong enough, Johnson cannot handle big players much like his father, Nagy, Palmer and Henricksen would greatly improve the midfield. Johnson has lost the plot completely, his final throw of the dice bringing on Vyner for Hunt with 2 minutes + 6 minutes of time added when we were only one goal down is proof perfect of that. If Johnson stays my advice to Benik Afobe is don't sign for us, you are far too good a player and nice guy to be ruined by him.
we have to settle down all the [ most of the squad ] has had game time Millwall were tipped to be top 6 … poor Fulham!
