I had a surfeit of Scouse last night so I haven't turned the wireless on today nor have I looked at the back pages of the newspaper. I might give the telly a miss too and just settle down with a good book for a few days until the scouse love-in fizzles out. Leicester's achievement in winning the league was far greater than this Liverpool team and yet they had a fraction of the fuss made of them. I love regional accents and the richness they add to our language, even Brummie, but I just find scouse and cockney unpleasant on the ear.
I still find it disgusting the analysis of our match on MOTD was cancelled and they cut straight to interview with some Liverpool players.
12 hours in and im sick of it already. Its everywhere. Even jeremy vine bleeting on about it. Time to go underground for a while.
I have just been out reading in the garden, refusing to put TV on today, I just knew it will be over the top media coverage. I remember when Gerrard retired from Liverpool....you would have thought he had died the way it was mentioned every 20 seconds.....cringeworthy.
L*verpool have been the media w@nkfest for a couple of years now, it’s probably saddest that the fans think people in the media actually care.... like always, they’re chasing the money. It’s only been a year since Klopp actually won anything and that performance in the CL final owed more to underperformance by Spuds and the red card. They have been consistent this year, but fans thinking that it’s anything other than the money lying for consistency are kidding themselves. I’m still not sure many/any teams have actually given them a decent game for a full 90 mins. Am I bitter, no, frustrated the media forget that for any winning team, the Mickey mousers one this case have systematically dismantled teams less financially well off than them.
For me also it’s the fans, the amount of them that I have spoken to over the years and they have never even been to Anfield, I dislike them but I still have been 4 times.
Keeps United further down the table which isn't a bad thing. The fans that support them and Liverpool in Ireland drive me mad. Generally clueless and fiercely annoying!

To have won it with so many games to spare only goes to show they could have taken the Cup so much more seriously
