When you put it that way. My thoughts from weeks ago what you posted. I appreciate that NDA have their purpose in the commercial world. But what is happening now is clearly odd. Ashley’s been tooooo quiet on this one. He publicly slated Mandy for wasting his time the last time. Is it happening again? It can’t be the PL now. All takeovers since the PL started have gone through faster than this one. The deal may appear complex to us but in actual fact the PL have already stated that thorough test from the outset and it usually takes 4 weeks. We are into week 13 now and that’s if things where not started earlier.
I don’t think he would though. He stands to lose the deal. He’s got the most to lose out of this. Do we really think he wants to stay? Having said that he needed the money 3 months ago because the share price of his business Fraser group had took a 60% drop in value but they are steadily coming back up.
There is no comment from anyone. For all we know it has been approved, completed and it is a deliberate delay. For what reason? God knows.
No it’s not. SJH is just the owner. Newcastle United has its own paye scheme. That’s why the government are suing nufc because it’s nufc who employs the staff.
The continuing silence seems to have two possible explanations: 1. The takeover has failed and no one who would like to crow about this failure knows about it yet; 2 The PL are sufficiently incompetent that they haven't made a decision. The Qatari's would love to crow. The fiancé or fiancé-like person would love to crow. Richard Keys & co would love to crow. Of the two explanations, PL incompetence still seems more likely.
Well I would be astonished if that was the case. It would mean a total lack of respect towards its customers.... I mean fan base.
If it fell through Qatar, Keys and Khasoggis fiancee would be gloating saying morality, justice and common sense has prevailed. They would be thanking the PL for doing the right thing. They arent. They are in fact silent. That would be a persuasive argument for saying that the deal is going through or already has.
Possibly: however she also has a lot on her plate. I remember us all debating whether her Barclays case would have any bearing on the takeover and I accepted it shouldn’t have done at the time. However it does dent her allowed time to revisit the takeover if she was required to do anything if requested by the PL.
Impossible. If it was completed, the NDA wouldn't apply and someone would be bursting to say something.
I have doubts again ... something just isn't right. I'm taking the only correct position and that is that I'm not convinced it's happening or it's not.
Unless there is an agreement that it will be announced on a certain date signed by all parties thereby creating a new NDA.
