Being passive is perhaps for the best right now, we are all passengers and it's not a nice journey.

Really struggling to think of a time we've actually won one of those "must-win" late season games. Seems like we've ****ed them up consistently for years. Even in our promotion seasons, we've usually limped over the line eventually after missing an opportunity to seal it earlier in a very winnable home game.

I’m amazed McCann has not been sacked! When given the Shepherds Crook at Peterborough after no wins in seven matches.
Every chance he will double that total after the next two games. The man seems tactically inept and his team selection and use of substitutes has been appalling. Listened to his comments after the Charlton defeat I’m afraid he is completely delusional. What a state this club has got into so unfair on the supporters whom the owners have no regard whatsoever.
Doubt they would pass the fit and proper owners test now!

As McCann never appears to change his tactics (and claims never to), the team is predictable to the opposition. We have been effectively countered tactically for the last 12 games yet he persists with his ideas. I would also argue he rarely seems to pick the best lineup for his own tactical plan. Charlton was vital as he had fit players returning to the side and needed a result. Even a draw would have raised morale, but Ehab effectively ensured the teams was unhappy going into the game, and McCann's plan made sure we got nothing out of it. We had one booking only. Can you see that happening with Colin. You need to battle for the right to play. We have no battle and no hope.

There are no doubt Sunday league managers in the Hull and District leagues with more tactical nous than Terry ****wit.

He won't change his system , he doesn't know how to change his system , he will continue doing the same thing over and over
expecting to get a different result .

Grant says players confident in the system. I doubt it. If they are, they are as deluded as the manager.
Grant says his team score goals. Yes Grant, but not as many as you concede, thats why you keep losing.
Grant says problem is not the system, No its the ****ing manager!

In games, you have to set your team up to combat your opponent, if it's not working then you have to change it. On Saturday we didn't manage to create any clear cut chances and needed to change things to unsettle Charlton. For me I would have gone 352, just to give Charleton something to think about, because they had us in their pocket for all the game.

And there ladies and gents is why nothing will change .. he just doesnt see how we are being outplayed every game .. he hasnt got the personel to play such a system yet he is so deluded he thinks he can still make it work .. complete and utter stupidity or naiveity or both. His teams always score lots of goals ? How many have we scored playing this ridiculous system since we lost Bowen and Grosicki .. you are the weakest link Grant .. please leave the building !

Teams rarely actually change formation. Ours is 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, whatever you want to call it, either way it's not particularly out there is it. It's the same as what most teams play now. People always want formations to be the problem. Really I think we're just **** at football. A better manager than McCann wouldn't necessarily use some magical new formation, but I'm sure he'd get us playing better.

Whoever said about yellow cards, that's a good point. We're soft.

Glad he acknowledged the set piece weakness finally. Can't see him sorting it though. That's another thing that you just know would be sorted overnight if Warnock was taking over here. It's frustrating that McCann can't just tell them whatever Warnock tells his players.

Reminds me of the Sunderland documentary where McGeady said he was used to a good bollocking when They got beat or did summat wrong and Coleman and his assistant were just
It doesn’t matter lads we move on.
Which is ok once you’ve identified and addressed the problems otherwise you just keep making the same mistakes

    Grant McCann <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

We never have the ball for long enough in the final third to create or score. You almost always now know if we concede early on (which usually we do) then the game is beyond us.

Keep them coming Grant you’re a funny man <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

After listening to that, what a ****ing idiot. I've done the leagues with City in the past so League 1 next year won't be new.

If you have an isolated striker and two marked wingers, the midfield 3 have no one to pass to, especially if they are outnumbered by a team with 5 in midfield. Most wingers are lazy buggers that don't want to work in midfield, so if you have a "flair" midfielder" in the mid 3 as well you only have two grafting in midfield. Unless they are superhuman you are going to get over run. I bet Colin has EVERY bugger working. Constantly conceding from set pieces for a pro team is a managerial sacking offence on its own.
