Thank you! My fault, was so darn busy today that when I noticed the mare was running there was only 10-minutes to go, and then when posting just 5-minutes before the 'off'. Think this good northern trainer will now start to get a few winners; I hope so.
I smashed it at 8s I started at 5s and the further it drifted the more I thought "**** it" who knows better these punters or Stick and I kept going in and I love you
Quite good early speed from Lady Florence but she seemed to weaken late on. Quaint also showed up early but faded even more dramatically. Crime Of Passion came from too far back but stayed on well. The only previous winner in the race, I felt 10/1 was too big for that one. I still don't understand why Lady Florence is due to go down to 30 on official ratings but I reckon she might have had a shout if the others had had to give her another 16 lbs today!
I did Stick, but the last one usually let's me down never mind, profit on the day thanks to your cracking tip shared a few days ago!
Good shout, NDS, well done! (Yep, not usually quite so sloppy with timing, but 'twas a wild day today, and I only have two speeds nowadays, i.e. 'slow' and 'stop' (maybe that's like a few of my selections sometimes! .) However, still thought I would put post the fancy. Found the prior discussions between Stick and Nassau on Diligent Lady very interesting; the reasoning was all there for everyone to see. The success was well-deserved! )
As a result of yesterday's result not much, 4th despite it going from 10/1 to 11/2. It's not so bad after I've been locked up in my house for more than 3 months without internet access. I hope all the forum members and their families are ok.
