I think I do but I may be wrong and wouldn't want to be the creator of another @Owld Feller type misunderstanding
Where does it say on the back of all the premier league players shirts Black lives matter equally to white lives? I can read writing and I can also read people, and you sir are a grade A a******e.
Thank you sir, I seem to have got your attention I was merely pointing out there there isn't very much room for very much writing on the back of a football shirt, there's no need to be rude
There's no space on a football shirt for political slogans, end of story ... ... what's happened is a hysterical reaction to a prolonged time of crisis. The people who allowed this are shameful who'll look back and wonder what they were thinking of.
Anyone see Mane not taking a knee at the start of the Liverpool game he ran 10 yards into the Everton half. This wont get mentioned as it was a black player but if it was a white player the pitchforks would be out.
Some players are obviously squirming as they're doing this. If the stadium was full some people would be booing, quite rightly in my opinion.
Maybe not on a football shirt, I haven't seen it on any placards or banners. Some of them are a canny size like. I speak as I find and that's my opinion of you.
I agree with your point that some would be booing. I find the taking of the knee quite cringeworthy myself but can accept it if people believe it will help. I hope it's only happening this first game week as it will become a much bigger issue with a lot of people if it continues till the end of the season.
I'd love the whole world to be one big happy cuddly place where everyone is content and equal. Won't happen mate. We have Libyans knifing us, people coming here in stolen dinghys and the government killing us because of their virus agenda. I just grit my teeth, be decent with people and have a few pints.
Yes the world is a giant storm alright. All we can do is look after ourselves and loved ones as best we can and hope we get lucky and never directly caught up in any of the ****e.
That would be great mate , a lot of us (won't say all as will get jumped on) have been caught up in situations at the match over the years where you're not looking for trouble but it happens. What's happening has the potential to be a lot worse than anything we've seen at any match imho. Hope I'm wrong but this could really turn to s***.
Waiting for him to search the net for a picture of said QUOTE. He,ll have the bedsheet and paint in the back yard now to prove his point....
I'm not an educated man or political person, but I do notice patterns of behaviour on forums and in real life. What I can see happening is that the grinding intensity of the arguments is making people think 'hang on a minute' and start to lose interest. The OTT nature of the forum posts, and marches, is counter productive because the 'rabid systemic racism' and 'oppression claims' just don't ring true. The constant attacks on decent people that their silence is part of the problem further turns people off. The vast majority of people aren't in any way related to the top percentage of the wealthy who benefitted from slavery ... ... yet we're all expected to feel guilty ffs. The working man, in the times of slavery, had his jobs taken away, or his wages pushed down because of the immigrants. So please stop haranguing ordinary people trying to get through this crisis, hold onto their jobs and and keep their families together. This endless protesting and lecturing will destroy your argument, not advance it. People who insist on posting their attacks care more about their own ego than 'their cause' imo.
Actually I've just read the writing back , see I can do it, and it was kittenmittens that I answered. Then this shameless jumps in. Or is it the Fish from the other side???? Very similar posting styles, both of them. Both full of s****.
I’m thinking along the same lines as yourself, he comes across just like that bellend, surely there isn’t two people like that?
I have dropped in and out of this thread and what comes across to me is everyone appreciates their is racism in the world and most try and live their lives and teach their children that is wrong without jumping up and down with the latest slogan or movement. I also see most on here accept that racism is not a one way street against one particular colour of skin, but to some it appears to me that if you don't fully support blackmlives matter, your somehow a racist and oblivious to their issues. As someone posted earlier, am I **** apologising for things that happened 200 years ago, the world was a different place and I wasn't even an itch in my great great great grandads pants
What's most annoying is that there are people, posting on here, who really believe they need to convince some of us. And, if we say we believe there's racism, think it's the power of their argument that's convinced us. There's some deluded sorts on the internet.
