    Rock City, like other nightclubs, is a pretty grimy place in daylight. It stinks of beer kegs and sweat soaked fittings. The floor is a bio-hazard and the toilets are home to bacteria the size of rats.

    Yet the beautiful Miss Grogan floated above it all, smelling of roses with bluebirds and butterflies fluttering around her aura ...

    ... I can close my eyes and hear that intoxicating giggle, wonderful creature.

    Sounds a bit like Botto’s at Consett.
