And **** it up, he even had one hell of a save for Cardiff And he is constantly in offside. Before today he has been in offside position 40 times. Aliofski as some like to call him has only been 4.

Not nice losing, but better when you're 7 points ahead, rather than 7 points behind. Duff start, but I think it is early enough to be exactly what we needed. It should give us a final jolt that'ii get the job in hand done. We were rusty. Yes, we had 2 bad passes that led to goals. Bad passes will always happen, so they didn't upset me as much as what happened immediately after. We needed to defend well to avoid the goals, but failed miserably for both. The goals were avoidable, imo. I'd need to see it again, but I don't think White exactly covered himself in glory. Not sure about Meslier's positioning. Seemed ok to me, but apparently JFH said he got it wrong. TBF, it was 2 well-taken goals, but far, far too much space available to the goalscorers. A few have mentioned our crossing, and how we fail to find a man. Isn't that always the case, though? How are you going to find a man when we're all comparative midgets? Our policy seems to be to fire in a cross & rely on luck guiding it to one of our players. I'm not kidding! I acknowledge that we try to counter this by throwing loads of bodies into the penalty box, however, someone capable of heading the ball might give our wingers someone to aim for. Best header up front is Roberts, imo. But even he's not got the height. Most CBs tower over him. Speaking of Roberts, I thought he did very well. Head & shoulders above everyone else. I'm a great defender of Bamford, but this was not his type of game. He's hopeless for us when the bus gets parked. He's at his best (scoring, obv) when the opposition play a high line. Gives him loads of scope for closing down, which has been his biggest contribution this season. No chance of doing that today, so perhaps we could have just gone with Roberts up front. Anyway, could have been so much worse for us. Results went our way this weekend. Imagine how we'd feel if the Baggies & Cottagers had won!
Yup, painful, wasn't it? Want them to lose so they get relegated. Also want Chelscum to get beat so Pampered gets the sack. As Pampered will surely do enough to get sacked anyway, I'd prefer if the 3 points went to London. 1 point at worst.
After West Brom they've got very winnable games (much like ours should be) 26 Jun Brentford v West Brom 30 Jun Reading v Brentford 4 Jul Brentford v Wigan Athletic 7 Jul Brentford v Charlton 11 Jul Derby v Brentford 14 Jul Brentford v Preston 18 Jul Stoke v Brentford 22 Jul Brentford v Barnsley
When Pablo is back I think our only option is to drop Bamford and play Roberts as our striker, I’d rather play Alioski as our striker than rely on Bamford for the run in. We need to sign a new first choice striker for next season no matter what division we’re in. If we are in the PL make that two.
I'm thinking 10 men over Bamford. I'm done with him. ****ing bell end. Plays like that in 9 out of 10 games then has the bollocks to cup his ears to the fans when he shins one in. Today was the last straw. Cost us too many points this season. I don't care if he goes on a run. He is not good enough. Someone shoot the ****!
It was always going to be difficult to get a result at Cardiff, and previous results prove this. For whatever reason Neil Harris has the measure for us. We dominated without creating much. For all the fantastic training the lads has gone through, they did not look sharp. People are saying we should drop Bamford, and replace him with that? We are still 7 points clear, and only eight games to go. We must not lose against Fulham next Saturday. Nice to see Poveda play. Shame we couldn't see more of the subs and give em 30 mins.
I’ll add to that, given our poor record against Cardiff and Neil Harris, I rated this as possibly toughest game we had left. So. We’re actually in a better position than two days ago. Avoid defeat next week and things will be looking very promising
I'll feel a lot better if Brentford fail to win on Friday. Otherwise Fulham game could be a lot more nervy.
