Did the loss of Bowen in January make such a difference to your team or was the writing on the wall before he left? From memory you weren't doing so badly at the beginning of the season. So were you such a one man team and simply failed to replace your key player?

I think we were always going to be fighting in the lower half of the table, but Bowen's quality was such that he was the difference between us winning games and losing them.

Simply put - if he wasn't here before January, we would've been dead in the water since the autumn.

We were absolutely a one-man team. Though Grosicki was also playing well, just not on the same level as Bowen.

 

The day that you criticise another posters post is the day we should all pack up and go home. You are the epitome of thick.

 

We've both had naff owners and you unfortunately still have but I have never understood the logic of owners pocketing the windfall from selling a key player and letting the team go down the pan. Surely the overall position becomes a lot worse and financially it's a win lose lose situation. Personally I would prefer the dog botherers to be relegated, If I had a choice.

 

We've won 3 times at that Wembley, 2 Play Off finals, one semi, lost FA Cup Final, (your good at losing at Wembley I understand)

 

Our owners will still want £50m for the club in league one. That’s with no playing assets and a ground we don’t own. They are a pair of ****s.

It seems like a stupid idea, but the Allams ARE stupid. They still think the club is worth £50m, for ****s' sake - it's barely worth 5 right now.

That's been their transfer window tactic for the past 3 or so seasons, our team has just been a constant flow of best players leaving and inferior replacements coming in with none of the money made going into the side, just the Allams' pockets.

Outside of a couple of academy players, there isn't a single player at the club who was in the PL for us, not one. And that was only two seasons ago.

Relegation doesn't really bother me, it might mean we're one step closer to getting rid of those ****s, as they won't be getting the money they want out of the club like they used to.

 

Exactly I just can't see how they will get that sort of money for a lower division team. Just like the time we had under "Bates the Bastard", it defies my understanding of the financial matters, but then they are supposed to be rich and I'm not. Just don't get yourself sold to a bunch of Arabs with no money like we did.

 

Egyptians are equally as bad.

 

You get a trophy for winning the play off final , like the one Donny WON when trouncing you in the League one play off final . Trot on please .

 

I can't imagine getting Saudi owners only to then find out they are the only poor Saudis on the planet.

They'll probably buy us from Allam at this rate

 

We'd be lucky to get Audi owners at the moment...
